Oh Carolina! Weekly Enewsletter
posted by AaronWysocki
Hey TYT Nation!
It was another week on the GOP presidential campaign trail, and therefore another week of Cenk practically jumping up and down like an excited schoolgirl relating a juicy piece of gossip as he covered yet another crazy, unpredictable Republican primary in South Carolina:

A suggestion
posted by lsr567
I have a suggestion for TYT, though it's likely that they will not take it. I think it would help the show if they split up the News show's 1st hour and 2nd hour.

Poll: Is Tom Hank totally WRONG
posted by huwrj
In a recent post game show, Tom Hank said there is an internal fight within the Young Turks with Tom Hank leading one side that says Cenk covers too much politics, too much gaffs and gossip, too much political horse-race, and not enough substantive policy details.

Cenk and the young turks have sold out to wal mart
posted by clove2
Cenk and the young turks now advertise for wal-mart on their website. The company that has employed thousands of children at slave wages now makes it's money off of the "so called progressives" on the young turks. Very sad. As a subscirber I have to say that I have to question whether or not I will support a news program that willingly schills for wal-mart. It's crushing I know, but the young turks have been honest from the beginning. They are capitalists, and are trying to make money. To improve our political system is merely secondary. It will certainly make me think twice before contributing to the young turks in the future. I thought they were on our side.

Oil prices
posted by fbrothers
My recent statement regarding oil ceilings did not include one item that struck me as interesting. On 9/11 we grounded all air travel in the U.S. maybe for five days or so. But right after that the oil reserve numbers came out and they had hit the ceiling. I do not remember the numbers, but it was shocking, how the reserves had built up in just that short time. Reserve numbers come out weekly on Wednesday. I would say, air travel has a great influence on the cost of gas.

Newt's moonbase
posted by Cogitor
Apparently, Newt's chances for the nomination have dimmed after the last debate - or so I gather from the media.
So I wondered, have they finally picked up on the outrageous pandering to racists, general scumbaggery or other odious traits of Newton Leroy?

Piracy and the free market
posted by guttermutt
Politicians and big business often rally around the idea of deregulation as the best way forward, because the free market will right itself. Well, isn't piracy a part of the free market? Surely the fluctuations in the free market have got to include counterfeit goods and services.

Ignorance Is NOT Bliss - GOP Response

Ugly Right-wing Ideology:
Mishima "Personhood?" Is that a far Leftist term? i cannot keep up with the different verbiage of the Left-wingers.
But you deflect and advert as usual. Of course, we can look to religious organizations and various charities to care for the babies whose mothers do not want them. But aren't YOU PEOPLE supposed to demand funding out of "compassion" and "caring" for the needy and helpless? Why so much effort and screeching to save the lives of convicted murderers, but silence when it comes to killing helpless unborn babies? Don't you see the hypocrisies? You claim "hatred" when people say a person should reap the results of his VOLUNTARY CHOICES, but dismiss the killing of babies in the very next sentence.
How can you NOT see the contradictions and hypocricy?

I thought they weren't doing it this year, but now I find out I missed it. The applause breaks are unbearable without some kind of commentary, so I still haven't watched it. Or is it already available and I just missed it?
