Young Turk (n), 1. Young progressive or insurgent member of an institution, movement, or political party. 2. Young person who rebels against authority or societal expectations. (American Heritage Dictionary)

The Young Turks is a revolutionary show. We were the first original talk show on Sirius Satellite Radio and the first live, daily webcast on the internet. But that isn’t the revolution.

We are a rare show that combines all of the news that people care about in one place. We’re not afraid to talk about politics and entertainment and sports and pop culture. But that isn’t the revolution either.

The real revolution is in daring to be honest with people. We don’t patronize our viewers or lie to them. We have real conversations and deliver the news honestly.

We don't have a monopoly on the truth, but we can be as honest with you as possible. We are going to bring you the news without putting on any pretenses. We're going to give you what we got.

Cenk Uygur is the host of The Young Turks. Ana Kasparian helps to produce and host the show. Jayar Jackson produces the show on a day-to-day basis. Jesus Godoy is the editor and director. Dave Koller is the Executive Producer who puts it all together.

Everyone also has a segment. Ana does all of the entertainment and pop culture stories. Jayar does sports and two signature TYT features: “Who’s Down with Jayar Jackson?” and “Garbage TV.” Jesus has “What Would Jesus Do?” Dave has two segments: “Dave Koller’s America” and “Bitter Movie Critic.”

Our guest hosts include, Ben Mankiewicz (host of At the Movies and Turner Classic Movies; also, former co-host of The Young Turks), Michael Shure, Wes Clark, Jr. and RJ Eskow.

But these are not all The Young Turks. The real Young Turks are all of you. Anyone who believes in this show and this idea is a Young Turk!
