Would be fantastic if the October suprise is Bush firing Rummy. This would help the Republicans immensely in the elections and might actually be worth the price Democrats would pay.

I've been thinking exactly the same thing. Actually, Cenk summed it up best with his proposal that "Nixon goes to China and Bush goes to Iran".

This would be a worldshaking event of historic proportion.

I hope you're right, but as discussed in a recent thread I believe the suprise is more likely to be air strikes on Iran than an agreement with them.

In 1980 the Republicans extended the hostages captivity for their own gain, not to mention the weapons that were sold to them. A sell out of the highest order.

This will cost us a lot more
