Seymour Hersh has another excellent article in The New Yorker on the possibility of going to war with Iran. As you can read here, the neocons inside the administration (Cheney and his pals inside the VP's office and the Pentagon) are bringing out the same old arguments about non-existent weapons that are an imminent danger to us and the survival of Israel.

It seems to me that Israel is worried about losing leverage more than they are that Iran will actually attack them. If we start an apocalyptic war to protect Israel's leverage, we really are pathetic.

If you think the idea of a preemptive strike against Iran is finished, read Hersh's piece and think again.

Cenk, you anti-Semite.  Don’t you know we must submit to the desire and will of Israel?  They are the chosen people, after all.  It has been decided.  I have prayed about it and God has shown me the way and we must slaughter millions.
