Iraq Partition

Regarding the strategy to partition Iraq, the referenced article from the the "Armed Forces Journal" is interesting. Instructive is the many comments to the article from Turks and Kurds. Seems to me partition is not a viable strategy. Seems to me there is not a viable strategy for Iraq. Seems to me, sooner or later, Russia wins. Global unilateral military domination by the US is a failure. Peaceful options have been scuttled by the adolescent behavior of our "leaders".
