Was Starks set up?  Link to NYTimes article follows.

New TYT reporter Mike Starks is nothing if not persistent. Looking forward to the full report from him.

You'd better go bail him out.

Nobody else cares about him.

Stark isn't a reporter, he's a performance artist. At least the Turks are getting cheap publicity. Check out Stark's website for laughs. He records his prank calls and archives them.

Friday and Saturday I talked to several Virginia residents, one on the phone and some others at a gathering (not political) in WV. Several live in northern Virginia, and another in Charlottesville.

Besides the fact that none plan to vote for Allen, they had some interesting things to say. The number of Allen signs in yards in some of the rich Republican neighborhoods is way down from prior elections. Also, that Webb is seen as reasonably conservative by many.

One comment started with the adage that in the South people are very courteous, although this can be a mile wide and an inch thick. To abbreviate the comments, I was told that one can show some meanness, but that there is a line people shouldn’t cross, and the feeling is spreading in Virginia, that Allen’s meanness has crossed that line.

Yup, that New York Times Liberal Bias comes shining through again as they repeat a falsehood that the Right has been pushing:

"On Tuesday, Stark was put in a chokehold and slammed to the floor by three Allen supporters in Charlottesville in an incident captured on video. Witnesses said Stark approached Allen, loudly asking, ''Why did you spit at your first wife, George?'' in an attempt to ask Allen about his legal history."

Anyone who has seen the footage KNOWS that the word "Why" was NOT said by Stark. His question started with the word "Did." But now that the Times has given the lie credence, we can expect it to be repeated as often as the Oreo cookie toss that never happened.
