Howard Dean's 50 State Victory

Last nights Democratic victory in the House and Senate can, in part be credited to Howard Deans 50 State vision.

Who would have thought 4 or even 2 years ago that Democrats would pick up house seats in Kansas, Kentucky, Indiana, and other redder then red states? Howard Dean did.

Dean put money and organizations into red states and took a lot of heat for it. Democratic leaders in Washington chastised him for wasting resources. But, Dean persisted. He claimed that the Democratic party must be a 50 state party in order to compete with the Republican machine.

Dean was right and he deserves his props. Vision has been a hard thing to come by in our party. Howard Dean is a man of vision.

I always liked Dean, he is the kind of leader the democrats always needed (one who isn't a pussy).  As for your comments, i think you meant Indiana, not Illinios.  Illinios is a fairly Blue state because of Chicago.

All Dean got you was 33 seats instead of 43 seats.

"All Dean got you was 33 seats instead of 43 seats."

What Dean got was:

"With the House squarely in Democratic hands and the possibility of a Senate power shift still looming, President Bush made two back-to-back phone calls Wednesday morning -- one of condolence to House Speaker Dennis Hastert and one of congratulation to House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi. "

The president wants to work with the new House leaders, said Snow, and was encouraged by several Democrats' calls "to get rid of partisanship." ( ha ha haha,  can you say "nuklear option")

"Bush wants to go back to the Texas model. He's always reached out. He's been trying over the last couple of years with limited success," Snow said.

AND

CNN projects that Montana state Sen. Jon Tester, a Democrat, will defeat Republican Sen. Conrad Burns.

With the victory, Democrats would hold 50 seats, counting two independents who will caucus with them, in the Senate and Republicans would have 49. The Virginia race remains undecided and would determine which party controls the chamber.

He's twisting in the wind and just want to take a little air out of our sails.

Things are going to change, that troll can do nothing about it.

Best policy is never to reply to them directly.

I'll tell you it was incredibly satisfying to see Bush today.

The trolls look weak and pathetic today. They have nothing, they failed in their agenda, their blind faith in their golden calf wrecked their agenda.

Mr. Dean deserves our thanks

Eating crow, numerous libs deserve an ear beating for how they were constantly bashed Mr. Dean over the last 2 years
