"The blood of our soldiers, (those who are killed and wounded) as YOU undermined the People's support for their efforts is on YOUR fucking hands."

But of course, there is no blood on the hands of the people who placed them in harms way for no valid reasons, right?  The people didn't stop supporting the war because of Air America, they stopped supporting it because over the last three years it's turned out to be fraudulent, futile, and counterproductive to our safety.

"When weapons of mass destruction were not found,.. did you seek justification and solice in the fact that Hussein INSISTED that he DID have them,.. and that he INTENDED to use them?"

I wonder if the families of the dead find much "solace" in the idea that Hussein had no weapons.   And, by the way, he insisted that he no longer had them and that Bush was looking for an excuse to attack, not the other way around.  That is the real truth.  You're either ignorant or dishonest when you claim otherwise.  I doubt if those families find much "solace" in knowing that between the two, it was Saddam who was speaking the truth.

"When they didn't have enough armor,... did you rally for more money to send them more? Or did you just point, criticise and use it for political gain?"

Wow.  This statement is almost sublime in it's stupidity.  Do I need to even say it?  How about just armoring them before you send them over?  Goddamn, but are you this deluded?  And you're full of shit, there were plenty of pleas for help in armoring individuals, many of which I heard myself right here on Air America.

"No. You again undermined the support for our troops JUST like you did during vietnam,..."

Man, I am so sick of this lie.  You need to do some reading about Vietnam.  It worked just like this war.  People were uneasy about it but went along at first.  It turned out to be a meatgrinder, consuming lives and money and there was no real indication we were making any headway after the first five years.  They escalated and escalated, sending in over half a million men at one time.  They bombed the shit out of North Vietnam and Cambodia, and still there was no clear idea of how it was ever going to end.  People got sick of hearing "we're winning, we're winning", and they'd finally had enough and started the drumbeat to end the war.  Vietnam was never any more "winnable" than Iraq is.  That was the lesson that those stupid motherfuckers never learned.

That said, the answer is no.  Not that it actually matters.

Fuck what the enemy thinks. I don't frame my opinion on whether a war is right or wrong, intelligent or stupid, based on what the enemy thinks. All I give a rats-ass about is that this government doesn't implement wars that kill people without it being absolutely necessary for our security or existence. That was obviously not the case here. This ridiculous war has aided the enemy a thousand times more than any possible protest ever could. They enjoy an immense standing that they did not have after 9/11 and Afghanistan and never should have been given. They were common murders, nothing more. George Fucking Bush has elevated them to the status of superstar in the eyes of ALL of our enemies. Do you not comprehend this? YES or NO?

You have an astonishingly low opinion of the American military if you really believe that words can hurt them.

When they didn't have enough armor,... did you rally for more money to send them more?

Yes.  We did.  Over and over.  So did our elected representatives, you jingoist fool.

And did you just suggest that we should have invaded because we trusted Hussein's word?  Astonishing.

No one has been "shooting our troops in the back" other than the Iraqis.  Take your drama and tell it to your mama.  We've been trying to get them OUT of there, because they don't BELONG there, because there was no good reason for this war in the first place.

Yes, Hussein was a bad man.  There are literally tens of other bad men in charge of countries around the world that we don't impose our policing on.  Why do you suppose that is?
