Things getting worse

The worse things get, the worse they will get.

As things go badly in the polls for Republicans, and election day nears, the Republicans will resort to more desperate measures to get voters back on their side.  When they do that, look out for some horrendous decision making and policy.

Quite frankly, I don't have alot of respect for either party right now: The jingoism of the Democrats in squashing the Dubai ports deal, as well as, their inability to give any kind of resistance to the expansion of executive power (until recently) and well the Republicans...if they actually acted like fiscal conservatives I might like them more...and I can't stand the social conservatives. Both parties are beholden to corporate interests and lobbying though I'd say Republicans are a bit worse these days. 

But I hope Congress goes to the democrats this fall. Why? It's a simple matter of parity. I don't think I want either party to have control of both the Executive and Legislative. 

Ultimately, though until the lazy moderates of this country start waking up (I am concluded) and start realizing they are as large of a voting bloc as the far left and far right, I don't think this country will get on the right track.
