Republicans were rewarded in 2002 and 2004.

It's tempting to say Bush is the worst President ever, but you can't forget that national legislators and even the public for many years backed his policies. Republicans were rewarded in 2002 and 2004.  It's not just Bush.

Plenty of Blame to go around (none / 0)
It's true there is plenty of blame to go around. From spineless democrats to lazy and apathetic moderates too easily swayed by arguments from fear. But not placing the lion's share of the blame on Bush is a little like saying a battered spouse deserves the same amount of blame as the abuser.

Don't assume... (none / 0)
...that Bush has a mind of his own.  His political advisers - Rove and Cheney - are to blame for driving the legislature and allowing corruption to blossom.  Democrats may be spineless, but they are a true minority party.

I have not thus far seen any evidence of a Bush mind.  I have not seen any evidence of him having his own mind either.  He could have been a hologram for all we know because when you ask a question its like he didn't hear you at all.  When he tries to get a point accross he laughs at himself right in the middle of his sentance.

 

Bush= mental case.  He is out of his mind.
