Over at C&L, I clicked on a link to a Wash Post piece on Bill Frist. C&L asked, "Is it creepy?"Yes...yes, it is. Disturbing on many levels.

If I remember correctly, this is how Victor Von Frankenstein (NOT FrankenSTEEN!) got his start. And Jack the Ripper.
The "beauty" of cutting a heart out of a living thing and watch it stop beating while holding it in your hand. Sorta makes one feel "godlike" to hold life in their palm, doncha think?
Let's see....the guy who diagnosed via videotape that a vegetative person with a shrunken brain had the potential to "recover" - this is a guy we're supposed to believe "discovered" Heart Disease among Gorillas???
If I was a Gorilla, I'd be swimming back to Africa to stay away from this quack, or, at the very least, I'd send off a videotape to get a second opinion...
