Oh irony, thy taste is both of mead and poison

What does it take to get rid of crooks?  Another crook!

How ironic is it that the thing which might get Attorney
General Gonzalez out of town on a rickety horse is the
biggest embarrasment to the Democratic party in a few
generations?!?!

Gonzalez and FBI Director Mueller have both now said
that they will resign if they are told to return evidence
seized in the (illegal?) raid of Rep. Jefferson's office
last weekend.  Sweet.  Give the order, and I will report
to DC to help Albey pack his bags and shred hs memos.

I guess it's true that you really can't understand
something until you're a part of it.  Even though he's
not directly involved in the decision that will determine
whether or not we get to laugh through another
confirmation hearing, Jefferson has given himself the
opportunity to perform one respectable duty before he
claims his cushy room in Allenwood.  At least that's
something.

The writer in no way supports the actions of Rep.
Jefferson.  After all, freezers are for filets -- not for
Franklins.

I guess the new format has left you without much to do,
thereby generating no bites for your bait.  The key isn't
to use bigger bait, it's to use more attractive bait.

Try again.

Like Jesus, I consider myself a "fisher of men."

Before posting a comment I should ask myself how would Jesus flame a newbie?

It is about saving the planet. Please remove your cranium from your rectum and try to keep up with the latest conspiracy theories. And you hate old people and children, you evil Republican.

"Judging from the overall level of participation, the new format has left everyone uninterested in TYT site. I'm sorry to see this happen."

It's not that I'm uninterested.  It's just a bit harder to
follow threads, since they don't exactly behave like the
old threads did.  How about you?

I played around until I figured out what works for me. The first thing I check is my hotlist, in fact I bookmarked that link so I navigate directly to it and see if anyone replied to one of my comments. I can easily see if there are new comments on threads I'm watching on the hotlist. I have a few usernames on the watchlist so I can see if someone I like to read has posted a new entry. That really allows me to improve the signal to noise ratio. I sometimes click on "Read All Forum Posts" and then just browse the summaries or whatever the blurbs are called looking for anything that grabs my attention.

There aren't too many active authors coming up with diary entries that elicit many comments. Is the quality of blog posts off or are people not comfortable with the new format? Why don't Cenk's entries get more comments?

Maybe it is because it got harder to use or maybe it is because people like the traditional board format but the is very little activity. I peek in once in a while to see if there is an interesting threads to post. While I never was a prolific poster I was almost addicted to coming to see what was being said. Not any more. The only real problem I had was I couldn't figure out how to keep my original name (Munnellski). Unfortuately for me my addition hasn't been broken I've moved on the other drugs (MAinly the loose change board). I love debating (if that is what you can call it) with the conspiracy theorists.

Munnellski, I remember the good times with the Loose Change thread we had going. Didn't it end up being the third longest in the site's history? I actually enjoyed that thread because I learned a lot. I had never heard of Loose Change until someone on Young Turks recommended I watch it. Of course I was then called a buffoon for not finding it to be awesome. I wish someone would start a thread on the 9/11 conspiracy theories and present some compelling evidence. How much research have you done on the subject?

I like you had never even heard of any of the movies until someone mentioned it on the Young turks board. I had never even heard of someone believing it was true until I saw it here.
I am a skeptic but i also like conspiracy theories. I have always told people that the moon walk could have been staged( i don't think I ever really doubted it though) so I started trying to research the claims but I never found any even slightly compelling evidence. For some reason I have become obsessed (that is really too strong of a word for it but can't think of a better one now)with countering the claims.

but the people who believe it already have their minds made up and no amount of logical thinking can change them. They can probably think the same about me but I believe I am opened minded. and could change my position if offered evidence. yet they all seem to think there evidence is a slam dunk.

Some good places for sprited debate about it are

I clicked the last link from your last post and all I can say is wow. Some of those people are too stubborn to be convinced of anything that doesn't fit their crazy theories. I enjoy a challenge, but they are too far gone to be worth my time.

His listeners might fit the demographic that is prime for conversion...

I suggest you study the facts before dealing with any Loose Changers. And don't ignore alternate theories.

...speaking truth to kooks.

Eeyore1954, AKA Munnellski, is the one who tilts at kooky windmills. He made some good points on one of the 9/11 conspiracy sites I looked at.

I watched Loose Change in its entirety and saw quite a few problems but did not take notes. Is it worth watching a second time in order to compile a list of mistakes, omissions and lies?
