Wow! If you listen to Cenk slam John McCain, you would think his political career is finished!

But here are Zogby numbers that are about as fresh as they come, and McCain is polling well in a crowded GOP field.

At this point, John McCain is focussed on capturing the GOP nomination. That's what he has to accomplish before he will ever have a chance to run in the general election in Nov 2008.

The McCain team has the money, the experience, the name recognition, and the infrastructure. Republicans are smart enough to know they need to run a moderate in 2008. So which Republican can beat John McCain?

The reason Cenk and other libs are attacking McCain is because they are scared to death of the guy. A McCain/Guiliani ticket or a McCain/Powell ticket would be a disaster for Democrats.
