Air America Statement on Randi Rhodes

A lot of you have been asking about Randi Rhodes this morning.

Here is Air America's statement on what happened:

October 16-NEW YORK-On Sunday evening, October 14, Air America host Randi Rhodes experienced an unfortunate incident hindering her from hosting her show. The reports of a presumed hate crime are unfounded. Ms. Rhodes looks forward to being back on the air on Thursday.

Stay tuned to airamerica.com for more updates. Obviously, our best wishes for a speedy recovery go to Randi.

On a lighter nore, on tomorrow's show, I will tell you the story of how I got my ass kicked by a crazed mob of Cuban Americans. Totally true story.

Air America talk show host, Randi Rhodes, was viciously attacked while walking her dog on Manhattan's East Side. She reportedly lost at least two teeth. Rhodes is a regular critic of the Bush Administration policies and practices. She was recently victorious in a lawsuit defending herself against CACI a contractor overseeing Abu Ghraib prison.

That isn't  he/she/its style. A full on face to face attack. That thing would plant a pipe bomb or something where there was no direct involvement.

does not matter. You said

and I asked where you got that "information".

Hint Ken, violent criminals generally don't pay attention to politics that often.
