Hey. First time poster here. I became a member because I never wanted to miss a show.
Appropos to nothing, but Jesus was almost certainly crucified naked. The soldiers were gambling over his clothes as he was dying. Since he was is said to be bleeding from all kinds of wounds, the clothes were unlikely to be on him while they were gambling (they did have Shout stain remover then). Prisoners were crucified naked to increase the humiliation. This is not usually talked about in church but is an accepted probability.
So a naked chocolate jesus makes perfect sense, and the fact that none of the other saints are naked also makes sense because they are not depicted dying.
I thought that the chocolate Jesus was kinda cool for all kinds of reasons. It was supposed to be displayed at Easter making it the perfect metaphor for the secularization of a Christian holiday. Ask most people what pops into their head first when you say the word Easter and it's more likely to be chocolate bunnies than Christ on a cross.
Besides which, I enjoyed singing to myself "I don't care if it rains or freezes, as long as I got my chocolate jesus". :)
