I know this is probably sounds a little sexist and religiously insensitive, but hear me out on this one. First off, in no way is this meant to offend Muslims since it is my understanding that it goes against religious principal for a Muslim and Non-Muslim to be together, however, these women wouldn’t have to be practicing Muslims, but merely from Muslim origins like Cenk (though female hot; not man hairy). The main goal would be to expose non-Muslim Americans to one of the beauties that exist within the Muslim culture and what better way than hot Muslim women!
So do you guys think this is offensive? And if so, why is this any different than having your religion celebrated and accepted within a so called “Christian Nation.” I know Cenk said the United States wasn’t set up to be a Christian Nation, but you try to tell that to a practicing Muslim. It wasn’t that long ago that I remember Cenk, the recent champion of Muslim rights, making fun of Muslims who dare follow their religious practices and pray at a baseball game.
Also on a similar related issue, I recently watched a movie that attempted to defy the white, male, power-structure by casting all the men as despicable characters. The director happened to be at this showing, and explained that she didn’t intend on characterizing men in a negative way and felt she was being harder on the women. Either way, the main character was a woman, didn’t fit in with anyone and ends up going crazy. When Air America radio started out, I was afraid a similar phenomenon would happen with the Left attempting to balance the Right with their own stereotypes/misinformation and not leave any room for honest critique and dissent. Luckily shows like the Young Turks came about that continue to challenge Democrats just like they do with the Republicans when they do wrong.
Anyway, so you’re wondering how this has to do with hot Muslim women saving the world from religious intolerance and world destruction? I’m thinking this idea has a good chance of sparking a chain reaction for the better in how non-Muslims view Muslims here in America and abroad even if it is exploitive. Then again, I wouldn’t blame Muslims for not wanting to be part of this white-washed culture, but don’t let me be the decision maker.
