BATTLE OF THE NOT-AT-ALL TITANS: Navy @ Notre Dame

Google Technorati del.icio.us digg reddit
Navy just got beat by the University of Delaware Blue Hens last week.  Does that make us safe?

Last year I would have said something along the lines of "LOL WUT NAVY GUNNA DIE," but this year?

I guess we'll find out in about 3 1/2 hours.

GO IRISH!

(I still believe, etc.)

Atleast it didn't take Navy 86 years to do it again.

as my great grand pappy used to say

"Even a bling hog finds an acorn now and again."

We need a LOT of acorns.

Of course, if the refs hadn't called that ridiculous pass interference and HAD called the block in the back in the fourth quarter, it might have been a very different (and shorter) game.

It also would be nice if any of our guys could catch.

At all.

EVER.

Part of this really is Ty's fault.  He couldn't recruit to save his life.  This is why we have one 5th year senior on our O-line.

Great inventions to come out of Notre Dame:
1. The solar-powered flashlight.
2. Dehydrated water.
3. Fireproof matches.

Acroso, if you walked into a room filled with a hundred guys, only one of whom went to ND, how would you figure out which one is the ND guy?

Relax and stand still, Acroso. He'll make sure to tell you he went to Notre Dame.

Actually, my research has to do directly with a technology we invented to replace the transistor.

So there!

I don't know what you TROLLS think you are doing. This is a political BLOG not a place to discuss football.

Speaking of football, Brady has thrown 2 interceptions both of which have led to Indy touchdowns. Payton has thrown none.

I guess that's the difference so far today.

That's rough.  As a long suffering football fan (Browns) all I can say is "there's always next year".  Then again I always had the buckeyes to cheer me up on Saturdays even if sunday's game didn't go so well.

My suggestion to you is to become a Colts or Pats fan so at least you're happy 1 day a weekend.  I recommend the colts because even though Manning is a dork, at least he's not a dusche like Brady.

I really wanted to see Peyton pwn Brady today.  It would have happened if he knew when to throw the ball away.  For a brief, all-important moment, he looked WAY too much like Jimmy Clausen.

Hey, at least you guys got our boy Brady Quinn.  Has he seen any action yet?

Nope, he hasn't seen the field, but he looked very good in preseason (not that that means anything).  Our current QB Derek Anderson is doing quite well (3rd in TD and 6th in yards in the league).  It looks like they'll probably do like Cincy with Plamer and hold him out this season and let him start next season (hopefully get a 1st round pick for Anderson), but we'll see.

As for Indy, I blame the loss on my boy Gonzo...he must not be sleeping in his bubble anymore because he never dropped passes like that at OSU.  If he catches that TD on the first drive that's the difference in the game.
