dictator planing to stay

I will be surprised if bush leaves in 09!

his private army blackwater could be brought back here to enforce martial law per PD 51. he now has the power to callout the National Guard on his own thanks to the wimp Dems (posse comitatus). His law breaking, war crimes, constitutional abuse, high crimes and misdemeanors coupled with his ability to shove the Dems around make it seem improbable that he will leave. What would these wimpy ass Dems do at that point ? Probably lick his ass clean once again! Sure hope I'm wrong.

It would seem insane even to think it, except for the fact that Bush is acting more and more like Nixon. Destroying evidence, lying to the American people on issues of national defence, breaking the law and claiming executive privilege.

But Nixon didn't have Diebold Electronic Voting Machines Inc. in his pocket like Bush, he had to rely on kooky nuts like G. Gordon Liddy and the Cuban expat brigade #2506 (the fine fellows who brought us the bay of pigs, watergate, iran contra and the miami dade county election scandal-hmm, whatever did happen to that missing armored truck). Why bother breaking in or having a slush fund when you can just outright buy the elections? But to follow up with the Nixon analogy, when the Air Force presidential helicopter was on the White House lawn, ready to take Nixon back to cali, he did indeed have a plan b, a coup attempt, he had the so called nuclear football in his possession and a group of loyal soldiers ready to defend him. I'm really not sure what made him change his mind.

Nixon, however, was a master politician and although nearly evil and insane, quite brilliant in his own way, and he planned all along to try and run the country for twenty years one way or the other, either through stooge puppets like Gerry Ford, or outright taking control himself. I am just not sure that Bush has that kind of ambition, I think deep down he's got to realize he's not very good at this and he's mucked things up enough.

On the other hand I wouldn't put it past Cheney, but then you'd imagine if that is what he wanted why wouldn't he just run and steal the elections? He's going to be sitting pretty on top of all those Halliburton shares and he'll probably go back to work for them, go back to Iraq, and just go out roaming the streets with mercenary thugs in armored vehicles protecting his oil and his money with really, really, really big guns. You know, just wacky massive ones, and then shoot back to the states every so often to duck hunt, speak at NRA conventions, shoot people in the face, that sort of thing.

Again though, I'm thinking rationally here, it is tough enough trying to get into the mind of one of their mindless followers and follow the republican playbook and try and understand things like the NRA, evangelical christians, coded language, warmongering, and that isn't to even mention Indian casinos or gay teenage twink pages in airport bathrooms. I mean that is tough enough but to actually try and think like Bush or Cheney or Rove is another animal altogether, so who knows. I really want to say, no that is impossible, could not happen. Then I look at Cunningham, Ney, Delay, Abramoff, Wolfowitz, Gonzalez, Oliver North, Casper WIenberger, and Richard Nixon and I say, hmm, I don't know, maybe.

Not brilliant enough to burn the tapes. That kinda put the breaks on things.

Dude,

Big Lebowski

He installed a bowling alley in the basement. Pure genius. But as usual, you miss the point, have no refutation for the long list of republican folly, want to distract from distasteful things like Foley, don't know your history, worse yet don't know your republican history, but mostly, you're just looking for me to defend Nixon.

My point was that Nixon had the nuclear football with him, the codes to start a nuclear war. Cheney has them in his house at the naval base. Bush probably doesn't even know what they are.

As for destroying the tapes, there is a difference between hubris and stupidity, though no one is to say an evil genius, take Nixon, Hitler, Cheney, Henry the VIII, Howard Hughes, the list could go on and on, doesn't do things that are completely incomprehensible to rational folk, that's what makes them them. That's why in the comic books good always prevails. Ah if it weren't for you bumbling kids, my evil plan would have worked. Scoob man, I gotta hand it to ya, that bong in the tail pipe, pure genius man. Here my friend, munch on a Scooby snack.

And further, you bonehead, you really think it is so genius to destroy evidence? You think the CIA is so brilliant because now they can't get caught?

Acroso's lame reply:

SanFran Nan, wawawawa, I'm a big baby and I want my bottle, San Fran Nan, wawawawawawa, where's KenTX, everyone is picking on me, wawawawawawa.

My reply to Acroso's lame reply:

Who's your daddy? You know what, both you and KenTX can go fuck yourselves.

Oh damn man, sorry for once again sinking to your level with the name calling and personal attacks, but come on man, you have to admit, you asked for it.

Nixon, LBJ, and Clinton had much in common. All three wanted to be president from a very young age. They had an innate, all consuming drive for power. They wanted to rule and dominate the world.

George Bush is an “accidental president”, just like Eisenhower and Reagan. He simply lucked into the job.

Here’s a suggestion on how to improve the nomination process. Draft a candidate who has never spent much time thinking about being President.

The kid in this photo has been scheming for the job his entire life. He is not a good choice.

Likewise, this kid had overwhelming drive and ambition, but he wasn’t able to accomplish a damn thing during eight years in office.
sucking JFK's cock

This guy wanted the job so badly, he was willing to do anything to get it.
I shot JFK

At 55 years of age, and his only lifelong ambition was to serve his country.
D-Day

This middle-aged man is having a career crisis. At this point, he never dreamed that one day, historians would consider him one of the greatest presidents in American history.
