it's jaywalking to me (and no, I've never been in that situation).

A 3 year difference? Come on. If the guy was, say, 10 years older, it'd be different animal IMO.

And some states smartly have rules in place that take the age difference into account and allow for a 5 year buffer, etc. Think about it, how many high school seniors are dating sophomores? Is that really "rape" if they have consentual sex?
