Will I get the Turks back "real time"?

I didn't see anything in the forums, but I could be wrong.

Sirius and XM have announced they are pursuing a merger.  No, this is not a rumor anymore.

I may finally be able to listen to TYTs once again - real time, instead of those blasted Podcasts.

I'll be so happy...

Now all they have to do is go back to their own timeslot and start taking calls again!

Originally, I was a Sirius subscriber. All I wanted was a broad selection of political talk radio, and it seemed like Sirius had a superior offering in those days. They had the Turks, Savage, FoxNews, and AirAmerica. I was happy, except that XM had MSNBC at the time, and Sirius did not.

Then Sirius dumped AirAmerica, and I switched to XM. Can you imagine that? A right wing conservative switched from Sirius to XM just for AirAmerica and MSNBC! It just goes to show there are many conservative listeners to liberal talk radio.

If and when the gubment approves the merger, I understand they will probably offer ala-carte subscriptions, which makes me very happy. I want the following dishes on my cafeteria tray: AirAmerica, MSNBC, FoxNews, Moonbat Left Radio, Wingnut Right Radio, and maybe the NFL.

Then I won't have to pay for Howard Stern.

Yeah, I'm pretty happy about this all in all.  Hopefully they keep the talent from both sides.  I'd hate to lose my favorite Alt Nation and Left of Center DJs.

Sirius Left died once they lost TYT and had no backup show in their prime slot.

I went to Podcast (yes i burn on 10 cents cdr's everyday) and havent turned sirius back on yet.

 podcast has no commercials too!
