Miami Herald (McClatchy Newspapers) does a great job of exposing the Bush administration's lies on Iran in this article. This is the kind of no-excuses journalism we need more of. These are the facts without any BS spin. Charges of Iran attacking our troops in Iraq are totally unfounded and clearly done to start another war, or at least bungle our way into one. Here are earlier articles from the Washington Post and LA Times that also do a great job of exposing Bush lies on Iran and who we are fighting in Iraq.

Here's a link to a 23 minute interview with George Galloway at his best on a British "Meet the Press" type show that magnifies the sort of mambly-pambly questioning our "leaders" go through. George doesn't mince many words, and I'd like to see anyone swift boat him - now THAT would be Entertainment! See if the interviewer can coax George into telling us how he really feels about Tony Blair (I hope that joke isn't lost on everybody...)

And if you're like me, wish that we had some firebrands like him over here (no disrespect, John Conyers)

"I hope this will not require military action, but it may." - George W. Bush, the infamous "Cincinnati" speech (which now holds the Guinness record for the number of times a person can be so wrong about everything without the speech actually being satire.) October 9, 2002

"They" also say the United States has no intention of attacking Iran. Feb. 03, 2007 "Some experts" according to the Brookings Institute wonks, or are the writers referring to "Bush and his top aides" who "deny that they have been exaggerating Iran's role in Iraq"? Hard to tell.

Read the speech. A lot has happened since then, refresh yourself with what utterly contemptable lies the SOB put out in his rush to get the Iraq war going. Compare it to the continual "Everything bad that is happening is because of Iran!" crap they are tossing on our rose-colored glasses.

Detailed analysis of Cincinnati speech - but I urge you to read through what Bush said once before reading the comments, and keep in mind they are old and as we know now - WAY incomplete.
