Does this Hillary/Obama détente mean the DEAL is already STRUCK. The TICKET is already SET. Obama's no longer running for president, only Veep.
The front-loaded primaries might have, ironically given us a situation, for the first time since 1968, that the convention might actually MEAN SOMETHING.
With Edwards and "the rest here on Gilligan's Isle" taking maybe 20 - 30% after Edwards wins Iowa and maybe Richardson comes up as a Dark Horse and Hillary and Obama splitting the majority, there might actually be a BROKERED CONVENTION.
Hillary or Obama might fight for the minority's opinion and try to make their case to swing this bloc to make the next ticket.
SCREW THAT. GAME OVER. Obama has GIVEN up his bid for the presidency NOW. Hillary's the nominee. Obama is just running DEFENSE for her, just pooling a MAJORITY for the convention.
