What about the Perjury?

All those conservatives who said the Clinton impeachment was about perjury not sex - they must be outraged at Scooter Libby.

and Clinton was not.

BitchiePooh appears to be one of those people who think if you are accused of a crime go straight to the punishment and forget the trial part of the legal system all together.

After all that's the American way of today.

Accuse someone and just lock them up with no trial or charges.

And in his dream world you just hunt down anyone who doesn't conform to his political beliefs and shoot them dead.

Did I get anything wrong BitchiePooh?

It's fun to make up a rednecky name, eh, BytchTwitch?  "Bubba?"  Not sure it befits a man of Clinton's education so much as someone with the background of Dick Cheney (if, at first, you don't succeed, flunk out a second time).  Luckily in the case of Libby, he comes pre-furnished for our convenience.

Long after guys named Scooter have run the republican party into a deep, deep grave from which there is no coming back, people like Ken and BytchCrotch will still be clutching the Clinton impeachment like an old, abused teddy bear, thumb in mouth, rocking back and forth on the floor in the corner waiting for "meds time."  When you consider what a threadbare victory Clinton's impeachment was (taking all things into account, the opposition effectively threw shit at Clinton and then sued him for covering his face...), there is no reason for non-republicans not to gloat.

I'm glad this isn't turning into a thread that makes fun of ugly women.  Because if it were, I'd have to post this:

Oh BitchiePooh I know when you say things like

You see, I didn't convict Bubba of anything.

In weasel language it’s true you didn’t, and neither did the courts, BUT…..when you say things like

Either punish hem both equally or abolish all laws against purjury for the rest of us.

You are saying that both deserve punishment even though one was CONVICTED, and the other was not.

Yes Ken you are correct Bill did voluntarily give up his license, and agreed to a settlement with Paula, as do many people involved in CIVIL litigation because some things are not worth fighting out in court for years and years.

I’m sure most of the people on the board understand the difference between a Civil and a Criminal case.
Yes Ken I did see the news of the day but perhaps in your haste to post you failed to notice one little detail

Pres Clinton, on last full day in office, agrees to settlement in which he will avoid possibility of indictment

Now let’s examine for those of you not familiar with the legal system

First you have and indictment

Scooter was and technically so was Clinton (by the House of Representatives)

Then you have a trial

Scooter had one and was found GUILTY, GUILTY, GUILTY, Clinton had one in the Senate and was AQUITED OF ALL CHARGES.

Now I know Kenny gets all tingly in his nether regions when he brings up Clinton, but the spin he puts on things can only be rivaled by Clinton himself. Just what did Clinton admit to?

Clintons statement reads
"I tried to walk a fine line between acting lawfully and testifying falsely, but I now recognize that I did not fully accomplish this goal and am certain my responses to questions about Ms. Lewinsky were false,"

It doesn’t take a legal scholar to understand that perjury requires intent, and in his statement he says he did not intentionally break the law.

Now if I did a Criminal History check through NCIC on both of these gentlemen who would come back with no arrest, and who would come back with an arrest and a conviction? Why Scooter!!!!

Which takes us back to the point that BitchiePooh would like to see punishment without the benefit of trial and conviction on those he disagrees with.

We know what he daydreams of

the right (including myself) were as hateful, violent  and trigger happy as you paranoid leftards believe us to be....

ahhh yes... Imagine a world without leftards.

I think someone has Issues!!! LMAO

Ken I am disappointed in you, a true Southerner would never speak that ill of the dead.

Perhaps you are like your hero Lush Limprod and think if it has anything to do with Clinton it's fair game to attack whether it's Bill's mother, or Bill's daughter when she was 12 years old, it's all just fine and dandy.

"Weasel language" has a definition, and none of those quotes you posted are examples it, Ken.  Weasel language means statements that cannot be proven untrue, yet lack actual quantitative meaning.  Examples:

- Hawaii is one of the biggest states in the US.

- A deep-fried Snickers bar is 98% fat free.

- History remembers the Clinton Administration as all about a blow job.

All three statements are examples of weasel language.  They sound strong, but inspection shows that none of them can be proven false because they lack content.  They are to communication what a cinder block covered in salad dressing is to nutrition: Nothing.  Now that you know what it is, you can be trusted never to use weasel language again.  Right?*

Your defense of the Clintons knows no limits. Are you sure you’re not related to Webb Hubble? Let me dig up some TYT Forum Hubble quotes on Ken Lay.

Most of the Ken Lay quotes were while "Kenny Boy" was still alive, and there is a difference between a public figure who stole millions from his employees, and the companies stockholders, and a relatively private person, who improved her life by becoming a nurse, supported her family, and had horrible luck when it came to men. If you can't see the difference then I suspect you just might be a Yankee in disguise.

Ken Starr and Robert Ray were most certainly pursuing a criminal case against Bill Clinton, not a civil case.

And? Pursuing a case and getting a conviction are not the same thing, ask the prosecutors of Michael Jackson, or O.J. Simpson.
Once again the if you are accused you are guilty mentality that gave the world reconditioning camps and other facilities.

Bill Clinton admitted guilt to a felony act, and he accepted his negotiated punishment. I’m satisfied that he ate enough of the giant steaming shit sandwich that Ken Starr served up.

Not really, Bill admitted to not telling the truth but not to intent, which constitutes the crime.

I am very satisfied with the outcome.
(1) Bill Clinton goes down in history as one of only two presidents to ever be impeached.
(2) History remembers the Clinton Administration as all about a blow job.
(3) The Monica Lewinsky Affair was worth at least 537 votes in Florida during the Bush-Gore presidential election.
(4) The GOP won control of the House, Senate, White House for the first time in 70 years.

No most people now look on the Clinton years as 8 years of economic growth and decreased crime rates.
Shrub has assured that Clinton will be regarded with fondness, as in remembering the good old days, when gas was $0.99 a gallon, wages were increasing faster than inflation, and the wars we fought had an end in sight because Republicans were adamant that the President provide a time line for when the troops would come home.

As for as being remembered for a blow job, most people already have a "What was the big deal" attitude towards it, and with the passing of time history will show Republicans as the vindictive, mean, hypocrites that they are, and Clinton will be seen as a victim of a witch hunt.

Yes enjoy the outcome of 2000 while you can, because at the current rate of dissatisfaction it will be another 70 years before Republicans get control again, and then cons will have to ask themselves was it all really worth it to gain so little and lose so much.

I'm not sure if you remember, but Scooter was convicted on 2 counts of perjury, 1 count of obstruction of justice and 1 count of lying to federal investigators.  Those crimes ( 25 years worth ) are bad enough, but do you remember why he was lying in the first place ButtPlug?

Allow me refresh your Jack Daniels riddled 6th grade mind.  Scooter was lying about how he and the VP conspired to commit treason.  That's what it's called when you divulge classified intellegence in a time of war.  It's a hanging offense, but to trailer trash like you, it's equal to a blow job.

Glinton's actions were dispicable, repugnant and below reproach. He should have been removed from office for what he did. Scooter and Dick should be doing the Saddam-two-step for what they did.  People who defend them belive their political party is more sacred and important that the security of our nation.
