It's really very simple.  I have watched the online show now for at least the last 6 months and have thoroughly enjoyed it.  I live in a city that doesn't have good reception for the Seattle AA affiliate so that is the only way for me to hear it.  It takes a lot of money to broadcast the video feed of the show and I don't think they make that much money from advertising, so I feel obligated to chip in.  It's simple - I use the service, so I pay.

Plus there are benefits of being a paid subscriber.  I get to watch each day's show on demand, not having to get only the last hour or worse - yesterdays's show on the random stream.  Plus I really do want to see what they are talking about in the member's only portion of the show.  Especially since it appears the lovely Ana Kasparian sits in on that portion nowadays.

I also recently bought my first iPod so, theoretically, I could actually "podcast" the show.  But to be honest, I just wanted to see more Ana.
