Two Important Articles
These are two important articles we referred to in the last two shows. First is the New York Times Op-Ed, "The War as We Saw It." It is written by seven US troops returning from active duty in Iraq. It is an unvarnished look at what is happening in Iraq. And, of course, a devastating indictment of our efforts there.Then, the article "How Rove Directed Federal Assets for GOP Gains" in the Washington Post is an excellent outline of how Karl Rove turned the White House into a Republican political machine and used taxpayer money to fund political efforts aimed purely at getting Republicans re-elected. Which is illegal by the way.
