Enough - Ann Arbor, MI

What started as a solo day turned into a protest of two.

What started as a solo day turned into a protest of two. I had an official "Enough" T-shirt wearing constituent of the Young Turks by my side for the better part of the hour. I definitely like protesting with other people the best. We talked about the usual Leeeberal stuff: Bush, Iran, concerns over the recent bizarre news about the bomber carrying nuclear weapons "accidentally" being flown across the U.S., etc.

We'll be there next week. Come join us.

The Young Turks in Ann Arbor

We had an art student stop by and take a picture of us as part of a project. Various people asked "Enough of what?" - usually we got a very positive response, although a couple of people just shrugged and went on their way. So be it - at least it stuck the idea in their head that something bad is going on and we aren't happy about it.

Early in the day some guy thanked me for being there. That was cool. As part of the protesting ritual, I used my handy iPhone to send out treats to the troops via TreatAnySoldier. I highly recommend doing this.

from the other side of town.  Our group started out small too, and we've grown every week since May, so keep the faith!  Michigan rocks - we have groups in Ann Arbor, Dearborn Heights, Mt. Clemens, and Wyandotte.  Not bad!

Peace,

Pam
