Hmm...Looks Like I Might Have To Vote For Huckabee After All!

Yeah, yeah, so maybe his tax plan isn't the best and he released a serial rapist (for political reasons) that went on to rape and kill two more women, but when your running mate is God, who am I to argue?

We all might have to take another look at Huckabee in light of this. Before I *suspected* he might not care about the separation of church and state but now I KNOW he doesn't:

"At a Michigan campaign event last night, Mike Huckabee gave an interesting reason for why he wants to amend the Constitution to ban both abortion and gay marriage: Otherwise, the Constitution would be in conflict with God.

Huckabee first observed that some of his opponents don't want to amend the Constitution on both of these topics. "But I believe it's a lot easier to change the Constitution than it would be to change the word of the living God," Huckabee said. "And that's what we need to do, is to amend the Constitution so it's in God's standards rather than try to change God's standards."'

It's a tough choice. (none / 0)
You know, every time I'm about to punch my ballot I think about how I'm going to go to hell for all these democrats I keep voting into office.  But then I remember how much I love abortions and gay sex and it's all good.  Though Huckabee actually running WITH God himself might be just enough to push me over the edge.  In fact... it just did.

Huckabee chooses Jesus Christ as running mate (none / 0)
"People say it is very early in the game to choose a running mate, however everyone knows Jesus and they love him." said Huckabee at a lunchtime rally. Scoffing at the accusation of being so sure of himself to chose a running mate before the nation's first primary election, Huckabee responded "Jesus has already informed me that God has selected me as the next President of this great nation, and I just want to get Jesus on board as quickly as possible."

Don't know what Huckabee is thinking, first offering the VP to Jesus, but then betraying Jesus three times by offering the VP position to Stephen Colbert on his show, the Colbert Report.
