Republican Debate

These guys are amazingly stupid.  They actually made Ron Paul sound reasonable.  Huckabee is sounding even dumber in the post-debate interview by saying he believes in WMD (and coincidentally a magic bogeyman in the sky who wants him to rewrite the constitution.)  I think Chris Matthews gets a little bit closer to orgasm every time he talks about the Clintons.

I'm sure there's Republicans out there who are still buying the crap they are spewing.  Cut Taxes!! Cut TAXES MOTHERFUCKER!!!  What do you think we're going to do when we get in office?  Cut some fucking taxes and borrow more money from the Chinese to pay for our fucking wars!!!  Oh yeah and we'll give lip service to global warming because we're in Florida and it's going to be underwater in 100 years.

Thanks guys.  You're all talking a lot of sense.  I'm proud to live in a country that allows people like this to be in power.

about the Republicans is how they all keep talking about how they're fiscal conservatives, and with the notable exception of Ron Paul, keep talking about how the war must continue. Between the Iraq war, the Dept. of Homeland Security, and the Missile Defense Shield, I really don't understand how they can even pretend to be fiscally conservative. It's absurd. On the Democratic side, I'm really missing Richardson, who in his final debate appearance (ABC debate?), made the statement, (I'm parphrasing here), 'everyone understands the only way we can pay for these proposed programs is to get out of Iraq right?' The other three candidates made pretty much no comment on that note, which really bothers me, because I have severe doubts about their intentions. Most especially Sen. Clinton's intentions, in regards to Iraq. I'd like to think Sen. Obama will do the right thing, and I'm pretty sure fmr. Sen. Edwards would do the right thing, (the right thing is getting out), but Sen. Clinton has done some flip-flopping on this, and I don't trust her on this specific issue, and sort of generally. Anyway, the longer this process goes on, the more disturbing I find the candidates on both sides.

We should do away with the IRS and go back to the hunter-gatherer way of living.
