POLL: Does anyone in America doubt that Bill Clinton is a sexual predator?

Google Technorati del.icio.us digg reddit

The Greatest President Ever!Recently one of our august conservative Republican TYT contributors asked the burning question:

Can you find anyone in America who doubts that Bill Clinton is a sexual predator with a wagonload of "issues"?

Theres only one way to find out

Ok America lets Vote!

If you doubt that Bill Clinton is a sexual predator with a wagonload of "issues" respond to this post with

Why yes, Ken I doubt that Bill Clinton is a sexual predator with a wagonload of "issues".

For you Floridians out there this is the only place you vote will really count for something. Thank you for your support!

[editor's note, by MRFred] I for one will ignore any further attempt to somehow link Hillary Clinton with Bills misdeeds. I also will ignore any attempts to perpetuate the right wing hopes that those who are concerned about McCains Health can be painted as Un-American and unpatriotic. Regarless of the eventual winner, this election is far too important to allow such idiocy become any thing but backgound noise. MRFred

Can't we find random pictures of women crying and relate them to any issue?  It hardly counts as an argument.

Also, when you just flat out admit how you're going to spin things dishonestly, you know you look like you're just reveling in being a lying mother fucker right?  All it's missing is the "Mua ha ha ha".

Please just sit this one out like Rush wants you to.

Ken, Ken, Ken...
You still, even after the last decade and a half of unethical Republican behavior and outright corruption, still don't get it that what you're proposing isn't debate at all.  When you use fallacious ad hominem attacks against your opponent, it becomes a war for the soul of the country.  We view it as a fundamental issue of morality, with you demonstrating your own inherent immorality.

Your methods cause the discussion to swing from one that is simply about, for instance, whether tax cuts for the rich or investment in our workforce is better, to a more personal one about whether imprisonment or psychiatric treatment is required, for it is clear that the damage done to our country by dangerous idiots like you will outlast your useless and wasted life.

Frame is the appropriate word.

This is how we frame the debate in 2008.

No that is how you framed the debate. Of course serious debate isn't your goal. Serious people won't have it.

Right wing hacks will...so now the question is which one are you? Serious citizen ( lovable curmudgeon that you are) expressing his views and debating the issues that will impact our Republic OR desperate right wing hack, using disinformation and distortions to elect a Republican president in a vain hope to get a few more tax cuts and favors?

Sen McCains health is an issue though not political one. Of course you desperately want to distort that that into some sort of " you hate Ameriaca" diatribe for those who ask the question.

Shame on you.

I don't doubt that anyone who is as obsessed with Bill Clinton's penis as much as SOME people are have a wagonload of "issues".

Of course I am not a trained professional so I would advise seeking the opinion of a qualified expert.

Clinton paid Paula Jones $850,000
to drop the lawsuit.

Clinton
admitted to lying under oath in January 2001.

"President Clinton, on last full day in office, agrees to settlement in which he will avoid possibility of indictment in exchange for admitting he gave false testimony under oath and agreeing to surrender his law license for five years."

In April 1999, about two months after being acquitted by the Senate, Clinton was cited by Federal District Judge Susan Webber Wright for civil contempt of court for his "willful failure" to obey her repeated orders to testify truthfully in the Paula Jones sexual harassment lawsuit. For this citation, Clinton was assessed a $90,000 fine, and the matter was referred to the Arkansas Supreme Court to see if disciplinary action would be appropriate.

SO WHAT?

Why should we care that some right-wing nutcases who have have robbed us of our constitutional rights and who have made this country the weakest it has been since the Great Depression might falsely attack someone who hasn't been in office for the 7-1/2 years that you and your ilk spent selling out our country?

Yeah.  You're a pillar of morality.

All I was doing was enumerating the results of criminal indictments and civil actions against William Jefferson Clinton.

In case you haven't heard, he's in front of the camera 24/7, trying to take back control of the country.

These issues are highly relevant to the decision that the country is faced with.

You don't like the topic? That's tough shit! You're gonna be hearing about this all the way to Election Day.

Broderick

"This is a story that's been knocked down and discredited so many times, I was shocked to see it in the Journal today," says Jack Nelson, Washington bureau chief of the Los Angeles Times. "Well, not shocked, since it ran on the editorial page. Everyone's taken a slice of it, and after looking at it, everyone's knocked it down. The woman has changed her story about whether it happened. It just wasn't credible. I don't know if NBC will run it, but if they do, they'll do it knowing there are real problems with it."

Significantly, the Wall Street Journal's own news department has declined to run the Broaddrick story in its pages. When asked if Journal reporters had pursued it, the paper's Washington bureau chief, Alan Murray, replied, "I'm not going to comment on how we devote our resources. But you're right to observe this has not appeared in our news pages, except in brief references." The Journal was the first to report that House managers were showing Starr's sealed "Jane Doe" material, Murray says. Later, in its Washington Wire column, the paper revealed that House Judiciary Committee counsel David Schippers had decided not to include the Broaddrick materials in the impeachment trial, since she had given different versions of the story and there was no evidence of obstruction of justice by the Clinton administration in the changed tales.

US Office of the Independent Counsel report noted that "Willey gave false information to the FBI about her sexual relationship with a former boyfriend, and acknowledged having lied about it when the agents confronted her with contradictory evidence.

Following Willey’s acknowledgment of the lie, the Independent Counsel agreed not to prosecute her for false statements in this regard."According to Independent Counsel Robert Ray’s report, "Willey’s [Paula] Jones deposition testimony differed from her grand jury testimony on material aspects of the alleged incident."

In a November 7 interview with Sean Hannity she contradicted information from her own book.Willey had alleged that, two days before her deposition in the Paula Jones sexual harassment case, Cody Shearer, the brother of a Clinton White House aide, had confronted her, hurt her cat, and threatened her children.

During The Sean Hannity Show Willey stated, "[the] FBI checked it out, and they found his excuse to be, for not being there, his alibi, was uncheckable, not so much ironclad as uncheckable." However, in her book she had written, "I was told that Shearer had an 'airtight' and 'ironclad' alibi, but another source told me that it was 'uncheckable.'"

Tripp also challenged Willey’s account of that Oval Office meeting. According to Tripp, Willey had arranged the meeting in part to see if her flirtation with Clinton might advance. After Clinton and Willey met privately, Willey rushed back to Tripp’s office to describe the meeting. According to Tripp, Willey “smiled from ear to ear the entire time” as she described the event. “She seemed almost shocked, but happy-shocked,” Tripp told the grand jury.Willey told Tripp that she and Clinton had "smooched," but made no mention of a sexual assault.

According to a book critical of Clinton by Candice E. Jackson, Linda Tripp told Larry King in February 1999 that Willey is "an honest person" who was "telling the truth" about her sexual assault at Bill Clinton's hands. However, Tripp's grand jury testimony differs from Willey's claims regarding Willey's of inappropriate sexual advances.

Willey has a history of controversial claims including telling the FBI she was pregnant and she had a miscarriage when she did not.

The court dismissed the lawsuit, before trial, on the grounds that Jones failed to demonstrate any damages.

Jones now claims she was victimized by both Clinton and his Republican opponents. Her legal fund did not cover the attorneys' fees, and Jones' personal life was disrupted during the controversy: she was divorced by her husband, purchased a house after the settlement, and incurred a large tax bill, then posed nude for Penthouse magazine, claiming that she would use the money to pay the tax and fund her two grade-school-aged children's college education.

This caused her to be publicly denounced as "trailer-park trash" by author Ann Coulter, who said, "I totally believed she was the good Christian girl who had suffered sexual harassment and eschewal, that is what she made herself out to be.... [N]ow it turns out she's a fraud...

Jones subsequently appeared in a boxing match against Tonya Harding in Fox TV's Celebrity Boxing in 2002 filling in for Amy Fisher, which she lost.

...because it will be so easy to beat you up with it.

Sure, go ahead and keep spouting your twisted version of it.  But all we have to do is lay out for all to see the too simple case against your obviously false accusations (which MRFred did admirably well in this thread), and then keep on our message (which includes the total lack of integrity on your side, the devestation wrought on our economy by your stupid policies, and our tried and true plans to fix the problems that you created), and we could see the end of the Republican Party.

It's like ol' Abe said (you remember, he used to be one of yours, although I seriously doubt he'd have anything to do with the the party today -- especially not with your traitor ous neocons):  "You can fool some of the people...", etc., etc., etc.

I'll tell you right now that Ken will run away.

He actually believes that drumming up some 10 year old story that everyone on the planet already knows will work (he is a funny guy, isn't he?).

Anyway, one of Ken's favorite man crushes, Karl Rove is not taking Hillary as lightly as he is.

"It is a small but telling story: she is tough, persistent and forgets nothing. Those are some of the reasons she is so formidable as a contender, and why Republicans who think she would be easy to beat are wrong."

I guess Karl just admitted defeat to Hillary in Ken's eyes?

I've been a member for about a week and bought my subscription yesterday.  I've tangled with Ken a few times before and I've seen him run everytime someone says something that flatly contradicts him and that he can't deny.

Actually, after I first encountered him, I started seeking him out for practice before I invade a couple of neocon blogs to see how many people of that ilk I can demoralize.  But Ken isn't a strong enough opponent for what I want to do -- he doesn't marshall his facts very well and picks topics that are too easy.  And then he runs away.

I like acroso, too.  I'd like to try a different, somewhat less hostile approach with him (although I might have blown that opportunity the first time we met in a thread), but I can never draw him into a conversation.

Anyway, this is sure fun, isn't it? :)

He's sexual, he's a cad, but "sexual predator" he's not.

That term has specific criminal meanings that do not apply merely to people who have sexual relations with multiple consenting partners.

"That term has specific criminal meanings that do not apply merely to people who have sexual relations with multiple consenting partners."

The women crying in those photographs do not appear to be "consenting".

The serious nature of the charge is troubling, and it far outweighs any lack of evidence. (I stole this phrase from many Democrats who used it while making accusations against Republicans.)
