Never thought I'd be digging on Rush

Just read this little piece about his latest anti-McCain hissy fit:

Limbaugh: Conservative base has 'fractured'

Permit me a decent helping of Schadenfreude as I see McCain doing better, and the far right wing getting more upset about it.  The RepugniCons have managed to show a united front for far too long; it's high time their inner differences start to manifest and their "big tent" starts to rip.  Let the various factions take their marbles and go home while the rest of us try to do something to help repair the horrific damage to the country (and to the Constitution) done during the past several years.

Keep on squirming, Rush!  The the more that big ol' belly and those saggy jowls of yours jiggle, the happier I feel about it.

The Govenator of California said that Rush Limbaugh is irrelevant. I guess thats true since no one is paying attention to him  and voting for McCain .

Look, you've got to start taking this stuff more seriously.  You can't just go merrily cracking jokes all the time as if being happy was more important than...

Oh!

Rush is very concerned because a McCain nomination means that Rush no longer dominates the GOP. Limbaugh spends three hours every day wailing on John McCain, and he's been doing it since the 2000 election.

Rush Limbaugh doesn't give a damn if the GOP wins in 2008. He gets much higher ratings when Democrats are in the White House. He wants Hillary to win, and he wants to maintain control of the Republican Party opposition to Hillary.

A John McCain - Hillary Clinton race is our best chance of victory. Independents love McCain and hate Hillary. Even Democrats hate Hillary.

Will Republicans get out the vote and support McCain in November? Listen to me on this issue. We don't want President Hillary Clinton! Any questions?

"digging on Rush"

Oh, you youngsters with your fancy slang!

There I thought you had breaking news that the Oxycontin King had (ahem) "assumed room temperature" and you work for a Cape Gawierdo cemetary.

Hope for a better tomorrow - dashed again!

The waterboy had a long diatribe on why the Republicon party has become fractured yesterday.  I listened for a full 3 or 4 minutes (I just couldn't stand more than that) and essentially he blames it on the "war on terror" and a variety of vague causes, anything but the cons.

I could have saved him some time.  They fucked it.  They had the whole ball of wax - presidency, house and senate.  Then, they fucked it.  They did what they always do, set about rigging things so that they get the maximum financial benefit for themselves and their cronies and fuck everything and everybody else.  It's the Republican way.

Maybe it will end up being a good thing in the long run that people can look back and see what happens when you hand all the power to these assholes.
