Clooney-Affleck 2016 the hunk ticket

Google Technorati del.icio.us digg reddit
Democratic ticket for 2016 (god forbid if it's 2012): George Clooney-Ben Affleck aka the hunk ticket

a sure way to capture 80% of the women vote? :)

on a serious note: it would be a good combo, if only for the fact that we would finally have a real liberal ticket.

Clooney is building great respectability with his latest slate of films, he just became a UN peace ambassador,...
Affleck, if you have seen him on Real Time with Bill Maher, you  know he has the good ideas

that said I hope Obama will bloom into a liberal lion, but at the moment his policies seem too DLC centrist

I don't know if you can call Affleck a "hunk", but George Cloony... Indeed.  It's too bad that the right wing would use things they've said in movies against them (just like Norm Coleman is trying to do Al Franken).  And just imagine who they could put in their cabinet...

I hope Franken wins, because he has the real potential to be an agent of change

Jennifer Lopez, Jennifer Garner, Gwyneth Paltrow seem to think he was/is a hunk :)
+ Named People Magazine's "Sexiest Man Alive" (2002), 2002: Voted Most Eligible Bachelor by People Magazine, ... but we should leave the question open to the ones amongst us who are not interested in Jennifer Garner :)

"I don't know if you can call Affleck a 'hunk'"

C'mon:  just look at that chin.

SAM: What's new, Normie?
NORM: Terrorists, Sam. They've taken over my stomach and they're demanding beer.

It's all about name recognition, baby.  Fred Thompson's not even A-list, didn't even campaign, not a charismatic figure, and sure as hell didn't have a platform...

BUT HE STILL GOT THIRD PLACE!  TWICE!

I'd go with Martin Sheen.  Also a leebral, but with much more actual white house experience.

Isn't he also a bit of a conspiracy theorist (9-11 truth and all that)?

I say from now on we pick all of our candidates from this list.  Does a Clooney - "Diddy" Combs ticket tickle anybody's fancy?

And, looking back at the list, who knew Adam Sandler was such a GOP supporter?

I had read that Sandler is kind of a dick.  His humor also tends to be a little mean.  Is it really that big a stretch?

true, I would sign for Martin Sheen this second, problem is he's 68 now, so he might be too old by them

but, he can still be elected from the Convention floor, you know what, let's do that
