New Video- The Hate that Fox Made

Google Technorati del.icio.us digg reddit

I watched this video on Crooks and Liars.

It shows people getting ready to enter a White Power Rally. Oops I meant a McCain rally.

This one is worst than the one that appeared on TYT.

Check it out. It's scary. I always said the Right wing was dangerous. They would have made great Nazis.

McCain has convinced people that our current financial difficulties are because Obama is a terrorist, and because of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.

Unless politicians start being honest with people, people will continue to believe insane things like this, and we won't be able to agree on solutions to our problems.

McCain is not an honest man, and he does not have the best interests of his country at heart.

When did you ever hear McCain ever say Obama was a terrorist?  Financial difficulties are heavily blamed on Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.

What do you blame for the economy that was doing just fine until these two collapsed?  The housing bubble was the catylist for the financial collapse.  Remove the regulation forcing these institutions to give sub-prime loans would have saved our economy.  Look no further than Barney Frank and Chris Dodd, they were the two top players.  Carter and Clinton also have blame on them.  Republican congressmen that fell into line with Clinton's pressure also carry much of the blame.  Do some research, please.  The CEO's and managers at these two institutions made millions off of the sub-prime as they were directed and got greedy because the system allowed them too.  Regulation forced them to go after sub-prime loans.  Without that particular regulation, the market would not have allowed this to happen.  Government got involved, and look what happened...  Free markets would police this kind of thing.  Look at Tyco and Enron. The government didn't catch these guys doing anything wrong... their competition did; they blew the whistle.

You think the economy was doing just fine before all this?

Where do you live, Mars?

All the republicans keep telling me the economy was great untill the Dems took over. You have something called denial. Yes Dodd and barney are to blame, as well as Bush. Now we are putting Jimmy Carter into this, you are getting way to deep now, I am 38, the last time Jimmy was in charge I was 10 years old, spare me please. If I am in charge of a business and it makes no money, I am responsible, even though I might have had corrupt people worrking for me, it falls back on me, just as this falls back on Bush, that is the truth. Bush should have put pressure on the crooks, namely the two sleeze balls Frank and Dodd, he failed to do so.

They say they wanted to regulate Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac in order to save them.

That is an absolute lie.

They've wanted to kill those operations since their beginnings.  The "regulations" they proposed were designed to kill Fannie and Freddie.  That they claim to be the good guys now, after succeeding to kill Fannie and Freddie by causin g the general failure of the market, as well as by other more direct means, is simply more of their repugnant, vile, and dishonest hipocrisy.

And as you do, notice the muted, almost polite response of the Republicans as they pass through a belt line of  liberal protestors, hurling vile invective and insults.

The film maker collected clips of the most angry responses from Republicans, after they were subjected to nasty insults from Democrats. And this is the best they could come up with.

Notice how many people simply smiled politely as they were being attacked. Sort of reminds you of KenTX in this forum.

Was Barack Obama indeed an ACORN organizer? It would appear so.

Is ACORN a criminal organization? It would appear so.

Do ACORN activists often go to jail? It would appear so.

Do ACORN activists like new Voter ID laws, where voters present drivers licenses at the polling place? It would appear not. I wonder why that is?

Organizations which do voter registration, like ACORN, are required to submit ALL forms gathered whether the forms are filled out completely, coherently, or in an obviously fraudulent manner.  ACORN flags suspicious forms when they are submitted and takes action against those people who knowingly collect those forms.  Also, there is no guarantee anyone will vote either democratic or republican once in the voting booth.

This could very well be linked to the attorney firings to which Karl Rove has been linked.  ACORN has been around for some time and has been investigated throughly.  Something doesn't smell right.

I guess the voter suppression and fraud in at least Ohio last round in 2004 was OK.

I think ACORN didn't know what the hell they were doing. Registering fake people will not affect an actual election like reprogramming the voting machines did. I'll bet ACORN people got paid a buck per app or something so some just made the stuff up. I've seen actual voter applications made out by real voters and you wouldn't believe the carelessness. I'll bet 10-15% will never get registered due to their lack of ability to fill out a form. Until we get a real tamper proof relection system in this country it's open to fraud and carelessness and whatever else.

When 60-70% of Sub Prime borrowers could have qualified for a better loan, but didn't know any better, the lenders are at fault. They were greedy and killed the goose that laid the golden egg. Trying to get more home ownership is one of the few ways to bring a poorer neighborhood up by its bootstraps but this was not the driving force behind the debacle. I seem to remember Bush bragging about how he got home ownership to record levels so it wasn't just a democratic thing. How quickly the right wing mind forgets. But then again you are still running from your cowboy president fast as you can.
