confused . . . but then again, I'm not running for VP

So, I know you know that I know that the Bill Ayres thing is soooo over done.  That McCain is grasping at anything at this point.

I commend the Obama camp for not doing the same, but someone should!
What about the McCain-Davis-Deripaska-Puti n connection?  4 degrees of seperation.  McCain had dinner with Deripaska, who can't even get a visa to enter the US . . . Bill Ayres is a college prof.  We let him teach our young adults, and Deripaska is part of the Russian mob.  McCain slings it, he needs it thrown back 2 fold.  But hey, what do I know - I'm not running for VP.

Why aren't there more hits in the 'mainstream' media about McCain in Davos and Montenegro?  I am sure there is an easy route from Kosovo independance to McCain- and not the ones you think.  That region has such a long history of war, really, we don't belong there.

No one seems to care about McCain's temper either.  He has said in the last 2 weeks a lot of stupid things, but hey, that's McCain.  He aspires to be a dictator, and adresses and audience as his fellow prisoners (and no one blinks!).  Can someone please put all these soundbytes together and then we will have the real speach McCain would like to give if he was elected dictator.  We go from Dick Cheney to Dicktator- oh, please don't let it happen!
I don't know much, I'm just a mom in Colorado, but then again, I'm not running for VP.

I think McCain's personality is costing him votes because of what people can see of it in the debates.  You are right that there is an even bigger anger issue that the Obama campaign is leaving on the back burner.

If the Obama campaign wants to start playing this guilt-by-association game, they have a huge amount to target.  McCain has been in politics a LOOOONNG time, and has some of the most dubious ties you can imagine.  As for Palin, there is AIP.  Need they say more?

But really, as long as this Ayres thing doesn't catch on, keeping it as the main focus of the McCain campaign for more news cycles just eats up the clock.  Every day the McCain campaign focuses on Ayres is a day they are not convincing the American voters that McCain is capable of getting us out of this economic mess.
