Last week I benched JT O'Sullivan for Matt Hasselbeck about 5 minutes before game-time. As a result I lost by 3 points instead of winning by double digits. But hey, the Bears won!

This week I benched Matt Schaub for Matt Cassel. As a result, I'm about to lose by 15 points instead of winning by 2. But hey, at least the Bears scored a TD with 11 seconds left against Atlanta to win the...never mind.

And the cherry on top was that the Vikings and Packers won. Could it get any worse for a Chicago football fan?

I am the highest scoring team in the league. So of course I am 4-2.

Last week I went in to Monday night up by 2 and he had Peterson.  Unbelievably Peterson had 26 Rush and 9 Rec going into the last few minutes.  The cocksucking Vikins got the ball back, ran the son of a bitch twice and he got over 30.  I thought I had pulled of a miracle but instead lost by a single point.  I had Chambers on the bench for A. Gonzalez.  Gonzalez got hurt and zero points.  Chambers had a TD.  Oh well.

This week?  I won by TWO.  Its been a wild ride.  I have Westbrook so I am treading water until he returns.  Then I should be good to go again.  In a 12 team league my lineup is:

QB-Romo

RB-Westbrook

RB-E.Graham

WR-Jennings

WR-Chambers (but Engram is in for him now)

Flex-Julius Jones (or Edgerin James or Dominin Rhodes)

TE- D. Carlson

K- Prater

Def- Dallas

I am pretty football happy seeing as how Texas is #1 in both polls.

I am, however, nervous as hell, seeing as how we have #11, #8 and #7 in the next three weeks.  That is after beating #1 yesterday.

That's not quite as disastrous as it sounds since it's an 8 team league.  I have the 5th highest point total (would be 4th if I had scored about 10 more points).

Bad luck and some decisions.  I have Romo two, but to make up for having 8 people, we start 2QB's. I drafted Hasselbeck and Schaub, both of which have bombed (although Schaub is back and I DO think Hasselbeck will be a stud in the second half, he always is).

Westbrook is awesome but I never draft him because he ALWAYS gets hurt. Then again we're in a PPR league, so his value is higher....I'd never draft him in a non-PPR league unless I got him as a steal.

PS---I can't believe the Cowboys lost to the Cardinals.

Whats frustrating is the "day-to-day" thing.  Which translates into "no one has any idea if or when he will play again.  Kind of hard to plan based on that.  He is spectacular when healthy though.  I took him 5th.  I think it was the right pick.

As for the Cowboys losing to the Cards?  What you have in Dallas is an impressive collection of talent that is not a team.  No discipline, no focus, no chemistry.  That sort of outfit can lose to anyone or beat anyone on any given day.

If you want to see what a team looks like, find the Texas-OU game from Saturday and enjoy.
