Looks like you had a whole family of pileateds at your place.  They should be showing up in my ancient apple tree soon as the apples get soft enough for their liking.

This is a useless endeavor (none / 0)

Jayar was either (a) frightened at birth by a tiny grey kitten, or (b) simply lacks the gene necessary to detect cuteness; it's like being color blind, and you don't miss what you've never seen.  Either way, he should be pitied.  Fortunately, he redeems himself with an eclectic and sensitive mus ical taste.

(Gee.  How did I know that desertpear would be all over this article?)
