Therefore its reasonable to assume that SAT score is real.

The fact that it may not be  doesn't change the fact that she is dumb as a post.

On a personal note:  I wouldn't be surprised if Palin's SAT scores were low.  I base that on her poor performance and low drive in college (dropping out of 4 schools, 2 of them community colleges).

No one is denying Palin has drive now.  And if she's driven now, I'd say that she had the capability of having drive when she was younger.  It's unfortunate that she didn't use that capability to do better in school.  Then, she might have developed a thirst for knowledge and valued its importance, and perhaps might have learned about current events and international policy on her own rather than forced to in an ad hoc cram session.

I thought it was obvious.  Bush is an idiot, McCain is certainly no brainiac, and most Republicans seem to believe -- and I mean truly believe -- that Sarah Palin is qualified to be Vice President or even President.

KenTX is comparing school performance to intelligence.  Obviously, in the case of the people he cited, those people posess very high intelligence and superior knowledge in relevant areas.  Besides, KenTX left out a lot of information about them.

For instance, Adlai Stevenson was forced into Harvard by his father -- he didn't want to be there.  Later, when Stevenson did develop an interest in the law, he got his LL.B. at Northwestern and passed the Illinois State Bar in 1926.  Among his lifelong achievements was successfully convincing the world that the U.S.S.R. was the aggressor during the Cuban Missile Crisis, when much of the world was ready to believe the opposite.  Above all, however, Stevenson was an honorable man.

But Bush?  It's a miracle that he can wipe himself.  And since he has admitted to violating the law and the Constitution, it's a gift he doesn't deserve to not be in prison.

And McCain actually seems to believe most of what he says.

The only conclusion I can come to is that KenTX is convinced that he's made a valid point.
