"I don't have a problem with Barack Obama. What you see is what you get."  -Bill O'Reilly

It certainly appears that B.O. is defending Obama when he speaks to that radical-right wingnut (Laura Ingraham) {to be referred to herein as RRW}, BUT I question his motives.

I'm almost wondering if FOX's News CEO's have received flak from above and have asked B.O. to mellow out a bit ? For example, the RRW indicates her concerns that if/when Democrats get into power, they will clamp down on or actually eliminate biased, radical or otherwise politically motivated Media. So maybe the "higher-ups" at Fox have decided it's time to cut some of their rhetoric or consider a tone that is less offensive (at least until they know what is going to happen re: Media).

Now that I have said that, I must admit, that I have no idea whether or not the US government has any legilative control over media or has the power to stifle/silence media. So I'm just "shooting from the hip" here.

In any case, regardless of motive, B.O.'s attempts to illustrate "Fair and ?" News, doesn't yet convince me that he supports Obama or Democrats in ANY way.

O'Reilly: The government should watch the oil companies, but not regulate them!

Eh? That's schizzo.

It's like many a voter who professes intense hatred for "big government" and such, but wants universal healthcare and the government to help folks - say against corporate greed.

Basically, those people are suckers. Just like that false Joe the Plumber...

And O'Reilly is just going around selling em that paradoxical mix of Reaganomics and populism. Works for the Fox audience, who after all are almost all precisely those suckers I speak of.

Cavuto: "Why are you yelling at me?" READ: Hey, I'm on the same team. You gotta do that only to liberals!
