Anybody else notice during the DEBATE?

Sarah tried from time to time to ad lib; to sway a bit in order to look professional, away from the script.

Did anybody else notice Sarah called Joe Biden, "Senator O'Biden?"  She may have did it more than once, but she did it clearly at least once.

These things seemed to happen when she tried to look like she could openly debate without her script.  Each time she swayed, she found she had to go right back to script.

Sarah, too, tried the Reagan, "...there you go again."  That was particularly embarrassing.

Maybe we should worry about her empty head more than whether she trips over words occassionally.  Biden had the same problem from time to time.

Noooooo! She is so witty and articulate. As she has proven in her recent interviews and reciting force fed talking points in the debate. Right?

This VP debate was like watching a concert pianist playing a powerful Beethoven concerto versus a schoolgirl stumbling repetitively through Five Easy Pieces.   We were pulling for you (to make it mercifully to the end), SarAppalling.  Now, go North to Alaska and let the competent politicians try to tackle the problems your party created.

That it was like a world class tennis player against a toddler.

It was right after she had mentioned Obama, so I figured it was just a one of those little slips, but it was worth a chuckle.

But I call the ticket that because I am lazy.  I would have accepted McPalin too.

As a history teacher, I particularly enjoyed when she reached into her vast knowledge of our collective past to invoke the spirit of one time General of all Union forces and 1864 Democratic Candidate for president, General McClellan.

I don't think she is getting near the props she deserves for that bit of Americana.  I was a bit surprised to hear we had turned over Afghanistan to him, what with him being somewhat disgraced (unfairly I would argue) after Antietam and the whole "being dead for over a century" thing.

to hell with the standard way of doing things, giving a war to a "living" general.

Are we at all worried that McCain plans to head up some sort of a zombie government?

Since day ONE it's been asked if Palin is capeable of being President should happen to McCain.

Let's look one level deeper:  Would the voters who've jumped into Palin's Playground still vote for her IF something were to happen to McCain BEFORE the election.  Would the Republicans keep her as the prime candidate?

That idea bothers me too, but seems to look at the problem through a different window.  The scenery ain't any prettier from there.
