There are big differences between the two countries. At least as far as gay life goes.

Hi Everybody, Cenk was talking about this far-right-wing populis t Jörg Haider who was killed in a car accident. In the peace, he referred to him as "German".

Well, if he had been German, there would have been no need to cover up the fact he was gay. Want evidence? The mayor of Berlin (social democrat), the mayor of Hamburg (christian democrat) and the leader of the FDP, a German free-market party - all openly gay. As you are progressive, I would have expected you know that today Germany is a place influenced by life in its many big cities whereas Austria is mainly situated in the mountains and has thus maintained a way more conservative, rural&nb sp;attitude.

And then, how would you like it if I referred to you as Canadians?

Other than that, great show, keep it up.

He called Ernst Röhm a self loathing gay who sent homosexuals to the gas chamber, which is historically incorrect. As the leader of the SA, he was openly gay and a member of a German gay rights organization. Hitler cleared him out because he felt Röhm was a threat to him after rumors of a revolution, and blamed Röhm's execution on his homosexuality. With Röhm's death the persecutions of homosexuals started for real.
 
You could say a lot of bad things about Röhm, but he didn't hate on his own kind.

If you want to find a self-loathing gay Nazi I would look to Hermann Göring instead. He loved wearing perfume and dressing in drag. It does raise some questions about him, even if he was never proven to be a homosexual.
