Will McCain be wired for the debate?

There was much speculation that Bush was "wired" for his debates with Kerry. The "Bush bulge" saying "Let me finish!" when no one was talking etc.

I was wondering if McCain would be wired for this debate and then thnking a bit more I realized it wouldn't matter.

Think about it, Obama is seriously smarter than ANYONE in McCains campaign so whether he is actually debating McCain or Karl Rove or Steve Schmitt he will still be the one with the best grasp of the issues.

Wil McCain explode tonight? Will Obama needle him like he did subtly last time? 

 Will Tom "Talks to the McCain campaign every day" Brokaw do a Charlie Gibson and  fill the debate with William Ayers and Reverend Wright Questions?

I doubt it. (none / 0)
There was no evidence that Sarah Palin was wired, and if they are gonna wire anybody it would be her.  My worry is planted questions.

...technology has gotten a lot better (smaller) since 2004.  And since she didn't have a jacket on to conceal it like the Shrub did, IF they were going to wire her, it would have been in her boobs.  I'm sure Karl put it in there personally to make sure it was "working right."

We wondered if Palin had her speeches at the debate transmitted to her glasses so she could just read them. Her speed of delivery with no pauses was like her trying to keep up with a text but more likely she was spitting back memorized paragraphs and if she paused, she'd lose the thread.

Wonder if McCain will look at Obama this time or be another rich white guy dissing a black guy. As long as Obama stays cool and answers the questions there is no way McSame can gain enough ground to make a difference. Latest polls show 349 electoral votes leaning Obama and only 174 for McBush. Seems people are finally waking up from all the slanderous BS and opening their eyes after 8 years of blindness.

They didn't show the split screen as much in the VP debate, or you could see that Sarah was looking down and reading her notes almost the entire time that Biden was speaking.  That probably accounted for her horrible response after him talking about his family tragedy.  She was awful.
