Which Republican Senator Do You Most Want to See Defeated?

Google Technorati del.icio.us digg reddit
Many incumbent Republican Senators are in very close re-election campaigns. Please take the poll to register which of these horrible public servants you most want to lose.

Of course the nice thing about Coleman losing would be that Al Franken would win. Liddy Dole and Saxby Chambliss are terrible people.  Ted Stevens is a joke already whether he wins or loses. Some of the other Republicans on the list are not quite as offensive.  After all is said and done, I want Elizabeth Dole to lose most.  Please answer the poll.

While the question may be interpreted as "who is the most destructive Republican senator", another factor to consider is "which Democratic replacement will be most effective".

Hillary Clinton has been a terrible disappointment.  Her lack of leadership in challenging the current administration despite her initially strong influence in the party leaves a vacuum.  Feingold and Dodd have helped to fill the void.  But Al Franken will bring with him such a strong following from across the country that he will automatically have the backing to lead where others have failed.  In addition, I'm convinced that he will actually use that power, and we know that he is a true progressive who will use his power for the good of his country.

Coleman has got to go in order to make room for a good citizen.

I wanted Franken to win badly enough that I donated to his campaign.

When his election comes up, Arlen Spectre.  He needs to be removed, and I have voted against him since I could vote, over 20 years ago.

Though I live in NC and won't shed a tear to see Dole gone,  will jump up and down to see that sleazy *&^%$$#% Stevens go  down in the flames of his own greed and avarice.

Just to get Franken into the Senate.

Also, I don't mind keeping Senators like Stevens and Dole around, because they'll be a continued drag on the Republican brand -- while Coleman flies under the radar enough to not be as much of an embarrassment.

But I have to pick Coleman who, along with Smith, are dangerous because they feign moderation while they're just hiding their wingnuttery.

Colman lies, Franken proves he is lying, Coleman lies again...

Apparently he never read any of Franken's books, he has no problem showing people as the liars they are.

Palin in 2012? Bitch, please! No, really, please run in 2012, bitch. ;)

...we would have to elect him President.

Hopefully, we can keep him from doing too much damage while he serves out his last Senate term in obscurity.

I'm surprised that I'm one of the few who chose Chambliss. I can't wait to get a seat in the deep south, to avenge Max Cleeland for the lies against him in 2002, and to demonstrate just how strong the democratic is these days.

I hesitated at Coleman's name, but really my feelings there are more about how much I want Franken to win more that how much I want Coleman to lose.

It's different with Chambliss.  He is an ugly, hateful, disgusting. pathetic excuse for a human being.  He deserves to get everything taken from him for what he did to Clelland.  Nobody should be rewarded for such horrible behavior.  The fact that it even worked in the first place made me lose faith in human-kind, at a time when examples of that were prevelant.

This man is one of the lowest forms of Right Wing Nasty Political Hacks! Besides the treatment he gave to a fine man who gave so much already for this country, but the damage he has wrought on our fine state is embarrassing. I am glad that on election day, I will be one of those who help vote him out of office! My big fear is that in my area, which is very rural, people have a tenancy to vote against their own best interest and vote based on things that should not even be par tof our political debate. I refer to topics like Gay marriage, abortion, and other social issues that hit straight at the "bible belt" mind set.

If they were true republicans these issues would not even be brought up. The original conservative movement was for less government involvment, yet today it has changed to less involvment in business and more in personal matters. They fight against regulating banks, but want to regulate who marries who or what a woman can do with her own body. Explain to me how a gay couple getting married has any effect on me. How does that weaken our country? Yet those who would get the most benifit from the economic policies of the democrats will vote against them because of this. It reminds me of lemmings. Even though they see the lemming in front of them walk straight off the cliff, they continue to follow them right over the edge. Frustrating at best.

Al seems to have some momentum these past few days. Let's hope he can widen the gap. Check out Real Clear Politics they give Obama 277 electoral votes now.

...then I'd come up with a formula that defines the danger each of those Senators represent, integrating their voting record, public statements, and propensity to be influenced by lobbyists.

But I said screw logic, and I picked Liddy Dole cuz I hate that tw*t.

Please don't hate me.

And what's up with that hair-do? That's right up there with the Trump varmint-rug.

She's going down, never fear.

Now that the godless ad showed us what a horrible person Dole is, does anybody want to change his or her vote?  I don't. I hated Dole a few weeks ago, and I still hate her now.

....it is like shooting ducks in a barrel or giving candy to a baby......

I would seriously consider cutting off a finger if it would get that repugnant Saxby Chambliss out of office.  Rep Jack Kingston(R) GA-01 is another scoundrel who needs to see his way out.

Jack if you are reading this buddy....If it takes me 100 years I am going to be there to shake your hand the day you finally lose.
