Disenfranchised by the Establishment

Hiya Young Turks, I really enjoy the newscast. Keep up the progressive viewpoints, but be sure not to become blinded by your own constraints. Always keepin' an open mind, never negate your senses a new perspective.

I'm no RNC/McCain dope or DMC/Obama fanatic, I suggest voting third party, a great argument and strategy has been put forth by statesman R. Paul. Check out the details here, Third Party Alliance. Whether you're green, independent, libertarian or christian conservative, there's an alternative for you. Check out Libertarian Bob Barr [www.bobbarr2008.com], Independent Ralph Nader [www.votenader.org], Constitutionalist Chuck Baldwin [www.baldwin08.com] or Green Cynthia McKinney [www.mckinney-clemente.org]

Don't believe the hype, B3rawk Obama offers no change to america's trajectory; his agenda is set by WashDC advisers and contributors, puppetering the Dem's campaign. Ultimately, they'll do the same for am3r1ca as clinton & bush before him. As for Juan McCain, he is iconic of the corrupted two-face politician only cattle could rally around. How he wormed through the primaries is exemplar of bloated government & derelict media.

With foreign policy, initialize the drawing back of the Military Industrial Complex, worldwide. Am3r1ca has become the scourge upon humanity it once sought to destroy; since when as propping up dictators, illegal invasions and meddling in others affairs been the policies of freedom? Peace, commerce & honest friendship isn't gained through war.

In regards to Privacy & Civil Liberties, repeal the Patriot Act, Military Commissions Act & FISA legislation. Reject torture, Restore habeas corpus, Dismantle secret prisons, Deny immunity to executive & corporate bodies. Uphold the Constitution, but if you will not, at least renegotiate the government's agreement with the people. Otherwise, tyranny reigns. [Seek out unitary presidency, illegal signing statements, excessive use of executive orders.]

Dealing with the National debt is also key, balanced budgets & paying off bonds will restore america prosperity. Reinflating the bubble with artificial credit only dilutes the dollar [$$], bail outs only add to future burdens. What will the next generation carry due to today's malinvestment? Think!

End the Fed, quick & decisively. The Federal Reserve, is a private organization hosted by a cabal of discreet bankers fiddling with your economy. A true free market isn't managed by arbitrary powers to create money & credit, with bogus economics... explain the housing/internet/etc bubbles, real wealth doesn't dissipate overnight. Taypayers aren't the angels corporations deserve, give them hell... not billion$packages. Aggressive prosecution of fraud & other crimes is a must.

Finally, I would like to acknowledge Obama on one point, change. Yet, realize that allowing the same corrupted parties to guide domestic & foreign policy time and again won't produce anything but insanity. Think outside the 2party establishment & take up an alternative candidate... now that's change you can believe in.

Over & out, Pax

As has been well covered on this board in the past, Ron Paul is a racists and a charlatan.

My first question for an Paul supporter is if he is so dedciated to defending the Constitution why has he not, like say Kucinich, done one damn thing to try and defend it and stop those who are detroying it?

I live next to Paul's district.  This guy is telling a bunch of kooks what they want to hear to raise an assload of money to "campaign" that he funnels into his and his friends pockets.  When he dropped out he had outraised McCain.  On the day he dropped out, he told his supporters it was vital they keep writing them checks.  Why?  He had no campaign debt to pay off, he had a massive surplus.  He conned y'all.  How'd that taste?

I lived in GA for 25 years and McKinney and Barr are respective party outcasts for a good reason.

There will come a time when a third party needs to be legitimized, but it is not now.  None of them can win and it it way too important to keep McPalin out of the White House, every vote for a third party is a vote that doesn't stop 4 years of the exact same policy.

"Finally, I would like to acknowledge Obama on one point, change. My guess is you didn't use that argument concerning Paul when he was running on the Republican ticket.  If it is possible for one Republican to bring change, why not one Democrat?

Maybe he won't, meanwhile we hear McCain PROMISING to continue what Bush is doing.  He must be stopped.

Vote Obama.
