Cent, please cover more economic stories

Anyone else feel the same?

This post is a modest plea for TYT to focus on economic scandals that are currently taking a back seat to stories such as, "What does Obama wear on casual day?" and "Some guy said a curse on TV, hehe."

I think an emphasis on Neo Con scandals is the perfect cure for election fatigue.  I like Obama, don't get me wrong, but I can only see so much of one guy grinning on my tv and monitor day after day.

Cenk, you did an excellent piece during Monday's post-game show about the new tax loop hole in the bailout bill.  It was the most engaging narrative of yesterday's entire show.  TYT is in a unique position to focus on the news stories that the mainstream media glosses over.  You already do this to a large extent, so all I'm saying is that I appreciate these stories, and that I would love to see more of them.

Anyone else share my opinion?

The name ties right in with the thread.

Yea I think the economy could be discussed more since its what Im worried about the most right now.

The 140 billion dollar  give away to the banks and why the dems dont want to do anything about it. Is a good one to start with

The economy is the biggest threat we all face everyday. I've been told my job may be axed and I'm sure a lot of other TYTrs are in a similar spot. I work in finance so realignment is happening daily.

What we love about TYT is that Cenk cuts through the hype, tells the nub of the story and provides historical background. If he could focus his research abilities on the economic crisis for at least part of the show, we'd all be grateful.
