Why are we still talking about Sarah whats-her-name?

I don't understand. Obama won. McCain and Palin lost. A week ago. We should be moving on. Then why is Sarah getting more airtime on the MSM -
and TYT - than Obama in the last week?
Sarah is gone back to Alaska, where she's now busy whipping up snacks for the former-future-possible First Dude. Her political clout and power remind me of that leaf that kept getting blown around in Forrest Gump. [Edit: it was a feather... my apologies, FG fans] Her odds of getting the 2012 Repug nomination, or of even surviving it, are slightly less than Rudy Giuliani's if he were to get caught with child porn.
(And a small if unsurprising confession: I hate her voice. Hate. I need a stronger word, cuz words like abhor, despise and loathe just don't capture the depths of my reaction to it.)
Sarah might not be an idiot - it is possible for us to have chosen to see her that way instead of just an ignorant person who got in over her head when nominated to veepdom. But the point is: "it just doesn't matter!" She is the Dan Quayle of our generation. There ain't no coming back from that.
So why is so much of TYT's time being spent on this waste-of-time woman? Is it not detrimental to give her the extra press even if you think she's sharp as a box of marbles? I need an answer...
