10% of blacks and 2% of muslims are batshit insane

Why WHY would minority's vote the gop?

According to Cenk 10% of blacks vote gop and 2% of muslims vote the gop.

How insane do you have to be to vote somebody who advocates against your rights and promoties racism against you?

A black person voting the gop is like a white person voting louis farikhan or the new black panthers.

Muslims are very conservative.  Their thinking is much, much closer to Christian fundamentalism than anything else.  They just believe a different dogma that puts them at odds with the Christians.  If it weren't for that portion of the Muslim dogma that expects you to convert or destroy the "infidel" they would be natural allies of the Christian right.  Very religious blacks will also tend to vote with the evangelicals.

there are retarded people of all races...actually, most blacks SHOULD vote GOP, because a lot of blacks are retarded christians, but the reason they historically vote democratic is because republicans are HISTORICALLY racist (leave that lincoln bullshit away from here, he wasn't "REPUBLICAN").  This is the reason blacks voted for Obama and for Prop 8.  I'll say it here, some black people are racist and fucking bigot ignorant assholes too, it's not just something redneck whites are guilty of, and I'll be the first to call black people stupid for some of the widespread beliefs.  Don't try to understand it, because you have to remove all rational thought to understand why they do it.

there are still %30 of americans who think bush is doing a good job.  I bet some of those people are part of this ignorant %10 of blacks.

Face it people, Humans just aren't that smart on the whole, so let's stop kidding ourselves and just face the fact that if you meet someone on the street, no matter what color, there's a %60 chance that person is a fucking moron (see the bell curve).  I would say %70, but apparently a C has become ok in American society.

Whenever I hear of some crazy statistic about how stupid Americans are, it always seems to come out right around 30% for some reason.  I just saw one the other day that was like "one in five Americans think the sun revolves around the Earth."  Honest!  And a lot more don't believe in anything so radical as evolution.

About one quarter of any group of people are going to be at least a little off-kilter, and a large portion of those are going to be clearly nuts.  Look at Bush's job approval rating; 26% seems awfully high for such a lawbreaking incompetent, doesn't it?  Tell us about your loony aunt and your dangerously insane cousin -- and we might want to hear about some of the stupid crap your brother pulled last year, too.

Cenk's brainwashing is finally taking hold.  Soon he'll have all of us thinking the way he wants us to, and he'll be able to rule the world.

--------------------------- --------------------

I was thinking:

Using Butcer's figures of 10% for blacks and 2% for Muslims, if you compare them to the rest of the population, that proves that on the whole blacks and Muslims are smarter than the rest of us, doesn't it?

Cenk is the guy that thought racism was over 6 months ago...I think we had our race images cemented before TYT.

What about the middleclass white people who voted GOP?  They stole your money, and in some cases your house. They sent young people into an insane war. And after eight years  you still vote for them.

That is just as stupid as being black or muslim and stil vote GOP.

Well, at least they did not won. So that says most of the people have some sense.

(That's an English colloquialism meaning that you are correct.)

And since a larger proportion of whites voted Republican that did blacks or Muslims, the only conclusion we can reach is that whites are dumber.  But since I'm a purebred white American mongrel, I've always known that.

More likely, they just aren't informed.

How do you account for the ones that think the sun revolves around the Earth?

all humans are sane to a certain degree, and insane to a certain degree.  We all have the id ego and superego which represent different personalities that have shaped our being, but we can't tell the voices apart.  So all humans are insane in that sense, but how we integrate those voices, and decide right vs. wrong decides how well we fit into societal expectations of acceptable behavior.  If it were normal to rape and kill (like in africa or saudi arabia) the people would think it's not insane that the norm is for people to have killed another human by age 21.  Personally, I think ALL people are insane, but some people have a better grip on their inner voices and can determine the "good voice" vs. the "bad voice".  NO ONE with all 5 senses can control their thoughts 100%, they can only filter them.

I think the simple answer can be defined as economics,
and pure dollars and sense. Don't people say all the time this country is moving towards a class system based on the "have and have nots, regardless of race?
W.E.B Debois' talented tenth, the richest 10% might naturally vote GOP based on the sponsered tax breaks of their economic class.
I would find it more odd if any person in poverty or lower middle class voted GOP, than I would if it was based on race.
Hell, Charles Barkley once claimed he was a republican.
Go figure

we need to bring back the term "Know-Nothing" party for the Repubs, even if that wasn't exactly the way they used it back in the good old days.

Oh, speaking of retarded...I am in a ceramics class and there is one lady who is conservative and religious.  She says she gradually became more conservative as she got older.  Anyway, she's not a bad person aside from her extreme dislike of abortion.  Anyway, I can be a real loud mouth sometimes and I made some comment before she really knew me about "selling my soul to the devil" for something.  The next class, while we were talking, she said "did you say you sold your soul to the devil last week?"  I said I had been joking about something and couldn't remember what, and she said she was relieved.  I think she was afraid I was a Wiccan or something.  I thought that was really weird.

Here is the answer why one black voted against Obama.

by Twba on 11/13/2008 08:01:52 AM EST

It's just one more illustration of yet another Republican making yet another bad decision based on a crippling misunderstanding of reality.  His essay is as unconvincing as any I've ever read, based on circular reasoning, hypocrisy, and incomplete knowledge.

His continuing reliance on the claims about Ayers and Wright show that he's either lying or just plain ignorant.

The author's sour-grapes complaint about Obama not limiting himself to public financing shows that he is more willing to swallow the Republican line rather than adhere to the facts.  Besides, is there any doubt that the author would have cheered if McCain had had the same opportunity and had made the same decision?

In fact, the author presents only two concrete reasons for voting against Obama:

• His stance on abortion and on the “Born Alive” provision in Illinois law.

• His stated intention to conduct presidential-level negotiations with rogue heads of state

But the author would have to misunderstand both the "Born Alive" provision and Obama's stand on the entire legislation just to mention it in this context.

The author finishes by saying that he would justify his vote against Obama to his children by saying that he kept his principles.

I guess that his principles don't include examining the hypocrisy and incompetence of the candidate for whom he voted.  But that is to be expected from Republicans.

that voted against Obama..  the press was looking and looking . Congrats!!!

Republicans portray the government as the enemy. Then when they take over, they prove it.
