Where's the Change we can believe in?

Wait, didn't Mr. Obama run on a platform and promises of Change and Hope?  Where's the change?  So far it's all Clinton cronies or a frickin' Clinton.  Where's the change?

He called Bush's cabinet meetings a good-old-boy time.  Well won't his as well?

Come on if we wanted the same old stale Washington ways we could have voted for McCain (ok not really but you get my drift).

We voted for change we can believe in.  We didn't vote for the same old thing used 8 to 16 years ago.

Or were we sold a bill of goods?

The cabinet is not cool. Hillary Clinton, Robert Gates, Bill Richardson. Not much change there, even though I like Richardson. Tom Daschle isn't much change either, even though the liberal community is happy with that pick. Janet Napolitano seems to qualify as change enough, I guess.  But all those obscure economic team nominations from the past two weeks, with the exception of Summers, seemed like good change to me.  Those were highly admired, competent, pragmatic, non-ideological appointments.

define crony.  Just because someone served in the Clinton administration does that make them a crony?  Holder and Rice both served in the Clinton admin but did not support Hilary in her presidential bid.  The only one who really doesn't seem to fit is Clinton herself, but can you be a crony of yourself?

I'm wondering, who you think would be better in Obama's cabinet than the people he has chosen so far?

did you think Obama would trust a bunch of no-name advisors in the biggest economic crisis ever?  This is a time for his surroundings to be veterans.  He can use the no-names in the second term.  The change comes from him.  Just think of the administation that would've been under mccain...exactly, it's not even january 20th yet, calm down.

at least give the man one full day in office before you tear him to shreds? Maybe he is smarter than you and is thinking 30 moves ahead or maybe he is Brutus about to stab you in the back. Time will tell.

Look on the bright side, he couldn't possibly be worse then we have had over the last 8 years.
