Georgia, Don't Let Me Down

Saxby Chambliss continues to attack opponent Jim Martin in ways that would make any honest man blush.

I'm sick of Chambliss.  Every person I work with is a die-hard republican.  "Mah daddy wuz a 'publican and 'das how I vote." They don't actually sound like that but it's what I hear in my head.

I visited Saxby's new web site about Jim Martin.  It's called JimMartinFacts.com and it's "scary."  A black background and red fonts equates to "FACTUAL STATEMENT TO FOLLOW."  Please!

It's time to send this guy packing.  He's an old racist and could give a damn about the people of Georgia.  I'm hoping Georgia does not let me down.

I live in Atlanta, and the ads Sucksby (oops, Saxby) is running are annoying AND stupid.  If he wins, it will be from the tendency for Georgians to vote Republican, and a reduced percentage of black voters.  There still seems to be an enthusiasm gap favoring Jim Martin though, so I'm not ruling out a miracle.  There were a lot of us Martin volunteers at the campaign headquarters today.  Tomorrow should be interesting.

I live just north of Atlanta.  No doubt Fulton will lean democrat but, most of the advertising is being spent in non-urban counties.  Have you seen the result of the republican funding?  Chambliss' new personal web site for one.  I'll be working the election tonight in Forsyth and I look forward to seeing the results.
