Seems the shoes thrown by Iraqi reporter Muntader al-Zaidi at Bush were made in... TURKEY.

even Vice-President Elect Biden may be involved :-) (Biden and Baydan seem pretty close to being the same name)

Now that it is clear that Turkey is behind this assassination plot, will Bush invade Turkey? :-)

Ramazan Baydan, the owner of the Istanbul-based Baydan Shoe Company has hired 100 extra workers to keep up with the demand. The Turkish company received 370,000 more orders from around the world, including 19,000 from the U.S.

RED ALERT, RED ALERT 19000 domestic terrorists in the US, this constitutes a clear and present danger, from now on SHOES are OUTLAWED in all states (except Hawaii, since they aren't really America as we all learned this election:-)

Ducati Model 271 has since been renamed The Bush Shoe. Noting the spike in sales, Serkan Turk, Baydan’s general manager, said, “Mr. Bush served some good purpose to the economy before he left.” Get yours now... :)

BTW seems the shoe incident raised Iraq's reputation abroad http://baghdadbureau.blogs. nytimes.com/2008/12/25/shoe -hurler-raises-up-iraqs-rep utation-abroad/?hp :)

And Bush should be glad the shoes were made in Turkey and not in the Netherlands.

(A Walmart shoe would've fallen apart in mid-air.)

flying footwear has become a symbol for people all over the world to protest abuses of power

will this be the lasting legacy of the Bush presidency?

I've long asked to bring a guillotine to Washington, so to finally make politicians scared of the voters and make them work for their voters interest, but if the shoe fits... throw it :-)

Bush to attack TYT headquarters?! He'll have to get through me first! (Of course, I'm 167 lbs soaking wet and notoriously fight-averse, but my heart is in the right place.)

Happy holidays to all.
