Is It Just Me Or Did Both Clinton And Obama Wink At Edwards Tonight?

Google Technorati del.icio.us digg reddit
I just finished watching some of Hillary's speech and am currently watching Obama...

Is it just me, or did it seem like both Hillary (with her minimum wage talk, etc.) and Obama (bad trade deals, protecting workers, etc.) were winking at Edwards and his populist message with their speeches tonight?

We already know they're fighting for his endorsement so I guess this should be expected. Still, it'll be interesting to see just how far both of them will go.

In the end I think it's a good thing, because as I've written before, no matter who the Dem nominee is, they're very likely to move right for the general election.  With that in mind, I want them to be pushed as far left as possible before then (in which case they might actually finish just left of center rather than just right of center).

and he agreed.  So not only is it not just me, but clearly I must be 100% right.

Does Edwards still control any delegates? How many, and could someone explain the process of how they switch to one or another? i honestly dont know. Thanks!

I don't think he does (?).  They need to get a guest on TYT to explain in depth this whole delegate thing so I'll know what to watch for next time.

The delegates committed to him are still bound to him during the first vote at the convention.  After that?  Whether they're then free to go where they will, or he has to release them, or something else, I don't know.

I dunno who winked at whom but I saw that there are so many more Democrats voting than republicans it is not looking good for the conservatives.

I saw McCain giving a speech and it was like 30 people then I saw Obama giving a speech and he was in an arena with about 17 thousand people.

They both threw out lines about the middle class and poverty and worker's right's a little before, but I think they've put it on a lot more since Edwards dropped out.  You're more than likely right.
