Dennis Miller Gets a Game Show?

I saw the ad for this last night.  I know, I know.  It's totally random and barely political but it pisses me off all the same.

How does this happen?  Did everyone forget that he's a political pundit (and a particularly moronic one if you've ever seen his "Miller Time" segment on O'reilly)?  I know he's not the only conservative game show host (Pat Sajak for one).  But Miller's not even funny.  Especially not anymore.  Has anybody heard his radio show?  It's terribly boring.  Damn near unlistenable in fact.
But why does it never go the other way?  Real liberals can't even get on most political shows, let alone game shows.  I thought we were winning here.  What the fuck?
Cenk should host the new Family Feud or something.
And since we're talking about game shows, please take a second to sign this petition to make Jimmy Pardo the host of the new Match Game.  If you don't know who Jimmy Pardo is...  Well you should, so google him.  He has a tangential TYT connection in that he's married to Danielle Koenig, the daughter of Walter Koenig AKA Chekov from Star Trek (a TYT guest).
Shameless plugging aside, thanks for reading.

Miller is living of his SNL days and that is wearing a bit thin. Miller has gone from one failed venture to another...His HBO show only lasted a year, he was bounced of Monday Night Football...He decided to jump on the conservative pundit bandwagon and by all measure has failed at that.

Now a game show...whatever pays the bills.

I love analogies and interesting references, but he goes way too far.  I guess he deserves some credit for his knowledge base, but esoteric nuggets only take you so far in the humor department.

He goes beyond analogies into babbling non sequiters .

The new match game? Im sorta glad I never watched the old match game from what I saw on The Game Show Network.

would actually be funny.  Jimmy Pardo is hilarious and it's based on his Match Game Live show in LA.  Plus Paul F. Tompkins (another great comedian) is in the old Richard Dawson seat, and he's a regular contributer to Countdown.  Oh well, I guess this only really applies to game show geeks.  But at least we can all agree that Miller isn't at all funny.
